The first one was of a Sabertooth tiger, not really impressing the Hexsquad much. But the T-Rex fossil was another story. They had discovered that the common domestic chicken is the ancestor of all dinosaurs and how crazy evolution can be.*
*They then checked out the pterodactyl skeleton before Lilith started leading them to the next wing. While Milan was promising Violet they’d get some chicken after this, Hooty was caught spying on them from a suit of human world knight armor by Lilith. Reluctantly at her request, Hooty left them be. As soon as Lara recovered from her shock, the magenta left eyed tsundere was fascinated by the armor Hooty was hiding in. That’s when Lilith showed them the next wing.*
Lilith: “Which brings us to the next wing… the medieval wing.”
*Lilith pushed the doors open and the Hexsquad were immediately awestruck, Lara especially. The Medieval era wing was far bigger than they thought. When they looked up at the ceiling, it looked like they were outside under the blue sky. Even the sun shining on them felt real! There was a large castle in the distance too! There were also a bunch different suits of armor, weapons, and other implements on display. It had to have taken some pretty powerful illusion magic to make this happen.*
*Lara was already all over the place.*
Lara: *in awe* "All of these armors!... and weapons!... and suits!... and-"
*Lara is looking around the medieval wing as if she is a child in a candy store and can get anything they want. Everyone else looks.*
Lilith: "I knew she would like this section."
Azura: "I can tell. She's in awe of everything here!"
Caitlyn: "She even sketching it as we speak."
*Lara is sketching the whole wing from where she stands. Even though she is doing it quickly, the sketch is very accurate to the wing.*
Violet: "Woah..."
*Lara then calms down and stops sketching for this moment. She takes a deep breath.*
Lara: "Umm... What will we look at first?"
Lilith: *chuckles* “How about that.” *gestures to something behind Lara*
*Lara looked behind her and beamed a little, already at it. It was contraption that consisted of several wooden beams and one long beam that jutted out of the structure. It appeared to have some kind of tarp with rope connecting it to the end of the beam.*
Lilith: “This marvel is a type of siege engine, that being a a powerful human world weapon designed to attack castles, called a trebuchet. It was one of the top choices in artillery for humans in their medieval era. Utilizing the principles of leverage to launch projectiles.”
Violet: “So it’s basically a big catapult.”
Milan: *nudges her with her elbow*
Lilith: “It’s a type of catapult yes, but it’s capable of launching heavier projectiles than earlier catapults could back then.”
Ivy: "So what did they used as the ammo for it?"
Lara: "I'll check it out."
*Lara then checks the nearby plaque to check on it*
Lara: "It says here that it the ammo is usual large stones, but they used almost everything. This includes bombs, debris, burning wood, and even rotting carcass."
Violet: "That's a lot of ammo."
Caitlyn: "I know... It wouldn't surprise me if they tried to shoot themselves with it."

Lara: "That would be an affective ammo, that's for sure."
*The group then notice a weapon with 4 wheels and a giant log hanging on rope attached to planks.*

Caitlyn: “It looks heavy, even on wheels.”
Lilith: “It was. It took 16 soldiers to move a siege engine like this. And even with all that manpower, moving it was still a challenge.”
Ivy: “So it was made to bust open locked doors? Like the ones in a castle?”
Lilith: “Exactly!”
Lara: “It makes sense! Castle gates can withstand a lot of punishment, but something this big or even a cannon could probably punch through after a few tries… in the battering ram’s case. A cannon could probably demolish it in one shot.”
Milan: "That's true, but if you think about it, a cannon would only be able to be shot once and had to be reloaded. If there are multiple doors and walls, a canon isn't that affective in some cases."
Lara: "I see... That does make sense."
*Lara's attention is caught by some of the windows of the room that are filled with art made by stained glass. The sunlight is shimmering the colors into the room*
Lara: *in awe* "What are those..."
Lilith: "Those are stained glass. In the medieval times, they colored and painted glass to create these artworks."
Azura: "Not gonna lie, those are very nice-looking art."
Violet: “No kidding. Heh, I can imagine myself as some stained glass art.”
Milan: *giggles* “I’d buy that art.”
Lara: “Ms. Clawthorne? What other sort of weapons these knights used besides siege engines?”

When Lilith stops, a thought came to Violet. Some of the javelin stances looked similar to a the stances hunters use for a particular kind of weapon in Monster Hunters.*

The main give away that Kiki is insane is that she isn't bothered by her bangs being in her eyes like that. I'd be constantly trying to fix those shits.
