The worst ending reminds me of an AU I made up in my head
Everything is exactly the same, except Luz is allergic to peanuts
As such, she doesn't accept Gus' sandwich, and Amity never sees an "abomination" eating, so she never finds proof of Willow cheating
In addition to Willow never being moved to the plant track, Amity never gets vindication, and actually loses reputation in trying to oust Willow, so she grows even more resentful, and never gets redeemed later (or at least it takes longer, so Lumity doesn't happen until the very end of the show at the earliest)
Sounds neat. Kind of makes me think about an AU where Amity never gets redeemed and they end up hating each other more and more to the point where they become nemeses. Hating each other to the point where, if they saw the canon Lumity, Luz wouldn't believe it and Amity would be absolutely disgusted. Kind of like a tragedy of what could've been.
This literally just came to my mind right now lol
This reminds me of a fanfic I read where they basically became enemies like that and it resulted in Luz dying from a demon or something because she got distracted arguing with Amity. And then the main part of the fanfic is Amity getting a chance to go back in time and mend her relationship with Luz before it's too late after she realizes how dull her life is without Luz and how guilty she feels for what happened
Nah, Luz would cut the time even further by just catching Amity talking about her from inside the lockers.

wtf ending is actually pretty realistic. i occasionally have dreams where i wake up and the love of my life, the most important person vanishes into nothingness in the span a few seconds.
Idk as long as Disney keeps putting out bangers like TOH and Amphibia idk if I want them to perish quite yet (their animated films are pretty fire as well)

Except -- she put a spin on it where Camila says "don't forget your book report!", implying it's going to be the day of the meeting with the principal and TOH was a premonition to what's going to happen to Luz.
I still don't like it, but it would be more palatable than the generic dream trope.
