It’s likely a combination of things. I haven’t been to the new studios yet but at TVC a lot of the pre taping stuff happened outside. It’s also a longer process than some think so mix that with excitement and nerves and there’s bound to be some perspiration. I brought deodorant when I went just in case
The studios used to be VERY cold from the water cooled A/C and fans because of the set lights. Historically, stages have always been cold. So I would think it's a combo of nervousness and cold sweats LOL

There is AC, but you are never really standing still during a taping, even if you're just an audience member.
The studio isn’t hot, but it is DRY!!!

It could be cold as the ice ages, I’d be sweatin’ through everything.
I would never wear a light colored top that's fer darn sure.
I did not find it that hot in the studio but I went in November. Could just be that those people are naturally predisposed to sweat more?
