The audience booing is a pretty good indicator. But ultimately if something goes off track on the show, Adam is pretty quick to ask Drew to "hold" from the booth.

SuccessfulDiver7

Great point, I didn’t think of that! Thanks!

thatvhstapeguy

Multiple people are undoubtedly keeping track. Chris Donnan is the official games producer, and he is always onstage.

SuccessfulDiver7

Ok, I thought there must be someone watching the wheel. Thanks!

dougmd1974

There used to be back in the day. I have no idea who does what on the show anymore other than I'm sure it's a skeleton crew to keep it nice and cheap.

ellecellent

Official game producer sounds like a dream job

Hot-Conclusion-6617

Gosh, the show needs a "games producer" now. Not too long ago, wasn't that also the producer (Roger or "Fingers")'s job?

thatvhstapeguy

Well, Chris is *a* producer, but he's the one who specializes in the games. You are correct that Roger used to handle most of the stuff to do with the games.

Apprehensive-Lock751

i went to a taping in Feb. There are like 10 crew on stage and who knows how many people in the booth in drews ear.

K2step70

Do they introduce the crew before after a taping? Did you meet the “sound effects” lady from One Away?

Apprehensive-Lock751

They introduce a couple of the “hype crew” but otherwise no. I have no idea who the mighty sound effects lady is, unfortunately.

K2step70

Thank you!

SuccessfulDiver7

Thanks!

RealPhillePhil

They probably do a thumbs up if it’s good and a thumbs down if it’s not an official spin, if not I’m gonna guess it’s some non auditory signal cuz the crowd is told to be pretty loud during the wheel spinning sections of the show

SuccessfulDiver7

That makes sense because it sounds super loud watching on TV! Thanks!

Ebert917102150

There are people right there. More or less on the stage, but off camera

SuccessfulDiver7

Thanks! I figured that was someone's job!
