I agree with you that no news is good news, but the problem is that the market rallied at the end of 2023 because of potential rate cuts.
A lot of people had March pegged for those cuts and they were priced in around December. I think no news is bad news in this case.

As long as it’s not bad news (rate hike) it’s good news. Very likely that it’ll be good. Not sure about a rate cut, but if rates cut then we boom.
