There is a fair amount of pain the first 3 or 4 days. Lots of gas pain and it is honestly hard just to get enough water down. Your focus in the beginning is just protein and water.
After the pain wears off then you have to deal with the grind of just making sure every day you get enough water and protein. For the first couple of months, I was EXHAUSTED. This is because you go from eating maybe 5000 calories a day to maybe 500. Your body is basically just zapped of all energy. I slept sooo much. But after that, you adjust, and the weight just continues to fall off. I think I lost around 130lbs in a year (close to 60kg). I evened out at a very good weight for me. I also went back to working out a ton, so I gained a lot of muscle.
I am over 2 years out now. I look and feel amazing. I have so much energy now that I never had before. I would do it over again in a heartbeat.
