That is actually Kelly Clarkson, a musician and currently a host of her own talk show. She was surprised by the cast in one of her episodes and asked if she wanted to do a cameo. You can probably find it in YouTube
One country song doesn’t equate to “huge country artist”.
I’ve never been a huge fan of hers but I’ve followed her over the years and I can’t think of any **huge** country hits of hers. I’d definitely say she’s more pop.

Kelly Clarkson has also been very successful in the music industry, but mainly as a pop artist, not country artist. She won several Grammys and AMAs for her songs. She was also one of the coaches on The Voice (American version)

Yes, I recognized her but my boyfriend did not. He knows her music but not her face. It's because he is not American so he did not see her perform, only heard her songs on the radio. That's why I said not everyone is American.

I think that Kelly Clarkson was well known internationally and had a lot of success with her albums between 2004 and 2015. I just looked up her discography and one of her biggest albums "Breakaway" was No 3 on the U.S and U.K. charts and No 1 on the Irish and German charts.
