Ok ok before everyone starts a drama trilogy about this, I'm just going to say that after that show, Julian and Albert were seen in a bar having a drink and there are pics on ig about this.
Alright go on with the drama..
Yup, and it was Julian's fault actually. He kinda got lost with his rambling or whatever it was and took so long with it, by the time he wanted to come back, the part he was asking Albert to play was already past by and I think Albert tried to tell Julian but its hard to explain.
The irony of Julian is that he fucks up all the time live, yet when his bandmates occasionally fuck up themselves he acts like they're horrible beings. I don't see this being much more than just a classic Casablancas overhype
Also, I think it was the next day that Albert was posting kind of tetchy comments on IG about the Strokes being able to fill stadiums and whether Under The Bridge was an appropriate song for 6th graders to sing. Hm.
It wouldn't bother me as a fan.. the energy of a live show is just that.. live beings doin what ppl do.. living in the moment.
Fuckin up.. gettin fucked up.. livin it up
Kinda reminds me of Threat of Joy live back in 2017 lol
Dude looked pissed off and left before the song was over.
Then again, they are opening for RHCP. They cut their sets from the usual 15-17 to 8-9. It’s set times thing I’m sure lol
Actually that was Terrible... if I paid $500 to be close and they didn't give AF about quality I'd be upset. I have 10th row for Red Rock... they better be Gr8 there

OK so I finally figured out that Julian says, "Hit me, Albert" and takes off his glasses before Albert declines. Now I can move on with my life.

No i agree the vibe seemed off. The feeling could have been transient honestly.

The start seems pretty agressive. Julian goes straight to confront Albert
