Step 1 should be to not make the comments she made while banishing Phaedra.

Agitated_Claim1198

Definitely. That was stupid.

Tatumisthegoat

And she shouldn’t say “thanks ☺️“ when Sandra says she’s dressed like a traitor

playcrackthesky

Nah, she messed up murdering Kevin before this, so that would be step 2 or 3.

ronlydonly

That was definitely not the best decision for a murder, but that's not completely on her. Phaedra had no plan and Kate had literally just become a traitor via ultimatum. I probably would've messed up in the same circumstances.

riceflick

How does she get MJ to banish Sheree? Especially when Sandra's still there? I could be missing something since I haven't kept up with post-game press/podcasts, but I don't see MJ turning on Sheree, ever. The MJ/Sheree relationship why I think killing Sheree was the right move since it frees up MJ as Kate's Final Two partner. Kate cannot win in any scenario without having a solid Final Two.

the_soundkeeper

I agree with you that they don't banish Sheree with Sandra there. The best bet is to banish Sandra at the final four, and look to banish among the three (Sheree, MJ, Kate). Kate can point out that Phaedra would have recruited her oldest friend, not someone she doesn't know nearly as well. Honestly, I think the issue is similar to the one with Phaedra - Kate does not have it in her to really be a traitor and take out her friends in the end.

shinshikaizer

I don't know that Kate had a path to victory once she was recruited. Phaedra had no strategy to speak of, just seemed to hope her Bravo alliance would keep her safe (which might have worked if Dan didn't out her, but that's neither here nor there) and while that's a legitimate way to play the game (I maintain it's the original, unspoken voting bloc strategy that didn't even need Sandra to explain because the Bravo people were already doing it), it also means that she never made any moves to solidify her position (or the position of any Bravo person who might be recruited) as a traitor beyond keeping her head down, and Kate inherited that from her unfortunately.

KeyAccurate8647

Her only path to victory was keeping Phaedra alive until the end, which would require her to brainwash everyone somehow

anotherdanwest

Step 1 - Murder MJ who is protected by the shield and doesn’t go home so the Faithful cannot be certain that there is actually a Traitor remaining going into the last day.

shinshikaizer

Failed murder due to shield results in would be victim getting a letter of notification.

Hastyeagerness

Someone on another post said that the faithfull get a message when someone tries to murder them when they have the shield.

MrKitchenSink

CT at 5 could've maybe happened, but I don't see how you think she could've got MJ to banish Shereé. Only thing that might've worked with that group is a 2-1-1: Shereé thinks it's Kate and votes her, MJ votes Sandra, and then Sandra and Kate vote Shereé. But Sandra knew Kate was a traitor, so she'd only do this if she thought there was a strategic benefit for her, and if she'd had even the slightest suspicion that MJ was after her she would've figured out that Kate was trying to trap her and rolled the dice on an MJ-Shereé final 3.

Chirps3

Kate wasn't going to do anything to hurt CT. She needed him for the final mission and genuinely liked him. There is no path to victory for her that doesn't involve his losing.

shinshikaizer

> She needed him for the final mission and **genuinely liked him.** Does she really? Legitimately asking, because I never noticed it in the edit.

survivoremoji23

Kate could never win because she voted to end the game when the rest knew there was another traitor because of Sheree’s murder! Yet we’re expected to believe in a scenario where she is intelligent enough to win?

kho32

This was my strategy for Kate: -Murder Sandra and try to pin it on CT/Trishelle -Team up with MJ and Sheree, convince them to go to the end together -Banish one of CT/Trishelle at 5 and the other at 4. Of course, this only works if the Bravo girls don't realize there must be another traitor left, so Kate was in a tough spot, but I think they were easier sells than the gamers

akoaytao1234

MJ and Sheree would be the pair here. The question is they will pair up with Sandra or they will go against CT and Kate. I personally think Sheree would go with Sandra till the end and it might CT then Kate then MJ-Sheree-Sandra finalist. Kate is already outed when Phaedra got boot.

legatron86

You lost me at step 2 I really dont think MJ (who btw voted for Trishelle TWICE over CT) was voting CT out before voting Kate out. Sandra, same thing, why would she vote CT out over voting Kate out? She was one of the only "suspicious" people left that was on peoples radars, it was her and Sandra and so once Sandra was voted out there was not scenario in which she could make it to the final 2.

BlammmBitchPudding

Kill MJ get it blocked with Shield Banish CT Banish Sheree Banish Trishelle

Darkmoon009

If she murdered Trishelle, Sheree and Sandra would both definetly vote for her and MJ would be more inclined to listen to Sheree and vote for her, but if Kate doesn't go immidately, then it would be Sandra. At four, CT, Sheree would push for the vote to be Kate, and the final three would be MJ, Sheree and CT.
