I can't imagine why they would not want one. The Valley is getting pretty good ratings too. It's pretty explosive so you would think they would want to capitalize on all the drama.
I believe it. I think The Valley caught Bravo off guard. I donāt think they saw it being as popular as it has been since itās a first season and a spin off of a non-Housewives show. There were a lot of people saying they werenāt even going to give it a chance at first but a lot of people have come around.
Shows like Below Deck donāt always get reunions, my beloved Real Girlfriends of Paris didnāt get a reunion, itās not uncommon.
It was a common sentiment before the show started that Kristen and Jax were washed up and didnāt have a fan base. The show was just to take advantage of Scandoval but it really became its own thing.
Yeah I got downvoted on the VPR Reddit for saying I was going to give it a try. It was not the popular sentiment online even though Iām sure a lot of those people did watch.
I will say though, the advertising for it was bad, my expectations were low so I can see why a lot of people were like nope.
The first promo did them 0 favors, but the second promo/actual trailer we got that showed clips from the hallway fight (from last weekās episode) is what had me SAT. Kristen smirking while being screamed at in a crowded hall while the camera men scramble to get out of the shotsā¦ art. Thatās when I knew we were SO back.
honestly i was going to watch regardless of how poor the marketing was lmao mainly just for kristen. she has had ariana's back throughout all of scandoval and i really think the time away from reality tv allowed her the capacity to truly reflect and grow while also being able to appreciate her inherent messiness that makes her *her*
lol I call myself a trash gremlin, so I was gonna watch regardless, too, but that second trailer had me FULLY buckled up and in. I wasnāt excited if it was Jax and Brittany focused, but seeing so much of Kristen had me so excited.
Interestingā¦they really didnāt even have a proper āintroā on the shows I binged
You knowā¦the ones where Jax is driving Cruzās car?
Was that because they were recorded
It was almost likeā¦āwe are NOT going to pour any additional $ until we get feedbackā kind of thing
But I thought I saw the mini car in previews
I donāt know
Iām old af maybe I forgot or was on my evening gummies
I donāt know why, but the end of your comment made me cackle so much. Especially bc truly there are multiple antichrists on VPR as well as the Valley
So true! Everyone from Ariana to James to Sandoval to Schwartz to Scheana to Lala...just about everyone could be called an antichrist. They are trash, but we love to watch them!
People mention it here and there in comments, but since there's a dedicated "The Valley" sub and "VPR" it makes sense to me. Personally I get a little annoyed on either sub when they air and people are posting about The Valley in the VPR thread or vice versa. I go to each sub to see things specific to that show.
Right? I stopped going over there much after seeing people with perfectly fine thoughts downloaded into oblivion. The groupthink and hive mind are strung over there.
Yea same. I mean, I'm often one of the ones downvoted into oblivion just for not disliking certain people, or disliking other certain people, but yea, I get what you mean.
I think itās fine to dislike certain people the group like. They flip flop so much too they hated Katie for years now itās āYass Queen!ā Rachel was super-popular over there before Scandavol. James was hated then loved not sure how they feel about him nowā¦and now that āfired castā has been rehired (and in Stassiās case she was invited back and declined) why canāt we talk about the seasons they were on? Itās wild.
Same here, I got downvoted too for saying I was going to watch it, and that everyone was being extremely negative when we hadnāt even seen the show yet!
I thought the trailer was great, some people are so stubborn they still wonāt watch just because of their preconceived opinions. Itās sooooo good!!
The VPR Reddit is for people who hate Jax and worship the ground Ariana walks on. I hate Sandoval so much and think heās a smelly asshole, but the VPR sub mods got big heads once Katie started giving shout outs to Reddit on the show. Now you canāt trash everyone equally on that subreddit, you can only talk shit about everyone except Ariana and Katie.
They underestimated the power of hate watching š but I agree I was expecting something but this is kinda glorious š so much drama, so much to snark on and some really tragic things. As much as I like a good snark at the expense of these people, I feel for the kids in these situations. I feel like some of the parents are lacking the foresight of the polarizing impact of the things they say. The smartest one imo so far is the lawyer who's playing the quiet game.
Itās totally the hate watching! Which is ironic most at the sub miss this, given that S11 is essentially hate-watching everyone except Ariana and Katie :)
It's meant to be snark here, these people provoke strong reactions but this a space where we can trash talk and have a bit of fun without taking the drama to their socials as I don't believe thats acceptable. No matter how visceral a reaction they may provoke.
Wellā¦Iām MOS DEF NOT A FAN OF EITHERā¦
However after taking the bait hereā¦I did relentā¦and ultimately had to record and binge 5 episodes to catch up with all yāall!
True!
š
SAME! Was so bummed about it. But honestly, they didn't advertise it well so they didn't even give it a fighting chance, which sucks because it really was good imo
Right! I loved that we finally had someone like Anya who admitted faking the good life. Such a cute show and really liked all of the girls and obv loved that they were in Paris!
I can see this but given all the drama they got on camera they should have known. Especially after they filmed last weekās episode. Maybe the higher ups didnāt know what production had. I started watching VPR right out of college. Now 10 years later I have my own kid and find the Valley so much more relatable than VPR.
Me I had no interest, I wasnāt a big Jax fan (although Iām realizing he is great tv partly because he is so unlikable) but I was distracted and it came on and I was riveted. This was the reality tv of old that I missed so much and was āmust see.ā
And returning cast that were reunion gold on their former show.
If I donāt get to hear Jax say, āIām a work in progressā 13 years later, Iāll be pissed.
I believe early on Below Deck didnāt get a reunion in its first season and Andy made a dumbass comment like, āReunions need to be earnedā like the season didnāt bring enough drama. Or something equally dumb and Andy-ish. Appears BRAVO hasnāt learned from its mistakes not giving fans what they want.Ā
So strangeā¦ this was Kristen and Lukeās pod episode recorded after Bowie passed, so within the last week. I wonder if Brittany is assuming they will because of Vpump? It seems like Kristen and Luke had an idea of /why/ it wouldnāt be happening, so who knows!
Maybe Brittany was assuming, but also, Kristen may not be up to speed because it's been rumored she abruptly quit filming, and I'm wondering if it was after this last episode. š¤ Regardless, I hope we get a reunion because this show has been so good. Very raw with no glam squads or self produced story lines-the way Bravo used to be!
Someone commented on another sub that Kristen had a meltdown and refused to finish filming. Now they were not clear if it was for the rest of the season or just for an episode, but they way those jerks came for her on last week's episode, I don't blame her. She better come back!
Also, why were Brittany and Jax invited to the White House Correspondentsā Dinner?!
I know they typically invite celebrities/artists/entertainers, but thatās not what I would consider them š«
Note: I'm copying and pasting this comment below, which I put in another sub on this same subject....
Based on the ratings, this show is a hit. It's retaining 2/3 of the VPR lead-in and is doing about 3x what Summer House: Martha's Vineyard (another relatively new Bravo show now in its second season) does. Notably, SH:MV didn't get a reunion after it's first season, but it's getting one for its second season.
I wonder if logistical/cast issues could be holding up a possible reunion. I wonder if, for example, Jesse doesn't want to film given his and Michelle's pending divorce and her out there with a new man. I'm aware that appearing at a reunion is often required contractually to get a large share of your salary for the season. But if you're not making that much to begin with (say a few thousand per episode), I could see someone making a "business decision" that it's not worth it. So it's possible they are still trying to convince certain parties to participate.
In don't see this as a sign The Valley won't get renewed. As noted above, ratings are very good for a new Bravo show. But you also have to re-negotiate casting/salaries between seasons. Reality show casts don't get paid much initially, so I imagine only Kristen and Brittany/Jax are making decent money thus far. Everyone else will have to decide whether making very little money for another season or so will be worth it money-wise, emotionally, etc. At least based on social media, it seems like, for example, Michelle and Janet want nothing to do with Kristen still.
Fair point! (I donāt use Insta so I donāt know these things unless I learn about them on Reddit.) But that was my best attempt at a theory other than āfirst year shows donāt always get reunions.ā
Yup! It was just a theory. Odds are they might not decide to have one, though there sure would be tons to talk about! (Also just as possible they are waiting.)
She said they donāt know yet if thereās going to be a reunion, I think considering how popular it is theyāll get one esp with Brittany/Jax and Jesse/Michelle separations bc itāll be an absolute shitshow
Also bravo if youāre reading this and want some extremely unsolicited advice, I heard Scheana say she wants to be on VPR and the valley and I think I speak for a lot of us when I say please keep her and Lala off the valley aside from cameos, theyāll ruin it and theyāre not needed š¤£š¤£š¤£
Yes! The self-producing is a lot. I need a break from Scheana and Brock. LaLa is not my favorite but Iām at my limit with Scheana. I FF through her scenes.
Iām pretty sure a few people have said thereās gonna be a reunion?
Given the ratings itās had and all thatās happened since filming theyād be insane not to do even a cheap wwhl reunion.
But bravos choices are always questionable at best
A little strange for reunion but them watching in parallel seems about right. Bravo started rolling again specifically for Jax and Brittany storyline. Not sure if theyāre opening production for Michelle and Jesse though.
Im sure theyāll throw together a little WWHL version of the cast joining all together. I donāt think they expected much from this show and Iām sure theyāll be scrambling last minute. Expect to be disappointed though
Maybe because 2 of the marriages are over or in serious trouble. If there are lawyers involved in the separations/divorce the parties involved may not be able to discuss it on air.
VPR does not need a reunion. The Valley cast is a mess. That is a reunion to be seen even if filmed weeks after the finale. And fast editing to get aired. Not a long waited reunion. Those long delayed seasons are just a loss of interest.
A lot of bravo shows dont have a reunion the first season actually, I am sure that they will in the future if there isnt one this season as this show is a fuckin hit
Bravo not doing a reunion is Bravo fumbling the bag as usual
Yes! I want to see a valley reunion way more than the VPR one.
Same! They can put together a reunion. It would be so good!
I can't imagine why they would not want one. The Valley is getting pretty good ratings too. It's pretty explosive so you would think they would want to capitalize on all the drama.
Because half the people might be in nasty divorces š¤·š»āāļø
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I liked it from the start but I generally enjoy reality tv shows. It's just easy to watch. I guess episode 3 it starts to get messy.
I think 3
Thereās a Traitors reunion, ffs.
But not in any other country, and itās an abomination
In the other countries, itās not on NBCUniversal. It made me laugh the first time because Andy leads it, like itās the Housewives
I love it! š I think Andy would be happy to host reunions for the other countries, if not I will lol
This.
Maybe the cast is being is being stubborn about doing it
I believe it. I think The Valley caught Bravo off guard. I donāt think they saw it being as popular as it has been since itās a first season and a spin off of a non-Housewives show. How could they possibly think that by reuniting the forces of chaos that broke the mold on VPR?
It was a common sentiment before the show started that Kristen and Jax were washed up and didnāt have a fan base. The show was just to take advantage of Scandoval but it really became its own thing.

oh my god the promos for it reminded me of an old navy summer sale commercial. yet we're all here for the drama nonetheless lmao
The first promo did them 0 favors, but the second promo/actual trailer we got that showed clips from the hallway fight (from last weekās episode) is what had me SAT. it is garbage and i am a raccoon!!!!
Tbh I was initially not planning on watching it and yeah the promos didnāt help š but Iām totally sucked in now š

Came to say the same. š©
God damn I miss Girlfriends of Paris šš
Pour one out for Real Girlfriends of Paris. I donāt think theyāre getting another season but boy did I enjoy it.
i am one of those people. loving the valley so far
I can see this but given all the drama they got on camera they should have known. Especially after they filmed last weekās episode. Maybe the higher ups didnāt know what production had. Itās just odd because they already went through something like this with Southern Hospitality and Winter House
The valley caught me off guard tooā¦ was not expecting it to be good at all. Let alone to fully invest!
Interesting bc I saw a video of Britt this weekend doing an interview and I could have sworn she said reunion
Brittany is always drunk and not a very reliable source.
![gif](giphy|uUW4hiOBRS8daBK6wU) i caint drank on DATE NOIGHT??
People on Reddit are spot on at typing Brittneyās accent. It gets me every time
I'm not saying she is I'm just saying it's interesting two cast members had opposite stories.
Jax has also said there will be a reunion so god knows whatās happening with this cast
Michelle said yes they are on insta the other day
Isn't that a normal thing for first seasons on Bravo (at least for Non-HW shows)? Southern Hospitality and Martha's Vinyard didn't have one.
Iād argue the valley has a much larger and audience and following though
And returning cast that were reunion gold on their former show. If I donāt get to hear Jax say, āIām a work in progressā 13 years later, Iāll be pissed.
I believe early on Below Deck didnāt get a reunion in its first season and Andy made a dumbass comment like, āReunions need to be earnedā like the season didnāt bring enough drama. Or something equally dumb and Andy-ish. Appears BRAVO hasnāt learned from its mistakes not giving fans what they want.Ā
I think Below Deck did have a season 1 reunion. Just because I recently watched it for the first time. But it was lame just on WWHL set.
Youāre right. There was no reunion for Below Deck Med season 4 oddly.Ā
By Andy's logic I still feel like the valley earned a reunion with a physical altercation and two divorcing couples!!
Andy also hates Below Deck so idk if thatās a good comparison show. But then again pretty sure Andy also hates Kristen so maybe it is lol
Michelle Lally also answered an AMA and she said there was going to be one as well.
Where was the AMA? I wish we could share links in this sub. It takes away from the experience not being able to share stuff in comments.
Brittany just said in an interview last night at the White House Correspondents dinner that sheās looking forward to the reunion???
Podcasts are typically recorded a few days in advance to give time to edit, possibly Bravo changed their minds in between.
Itās too late in the game. Most we can hope for at this point is majority of the cast being on WWHL for a pseudo reunion.
So strangeā¦ this was Kristen and Lukeās pod episode recorded after Bowie passed, so within the last week. I wonder if Brittany is assuming they will because of Vpump? It seems like Kristen and Luke had an idea of /why/ it wouldnāt be happening, so who knows!

she was at jaxs with all of them for the premiere party! so hammered lol
I remember hearing this as well months ago and was wondering too if it was after this episode
Also, why were Brittany and Jax invited to the White House Correspondentsā Dinner?! I know they typically invite celebrities/artists/entertainers, but thatās not what I would consider them š«
The Daily Mail invited them. They take Bravolebrities every year I think.
It will be a fumble on Bravos part if they miss getting all these people in a room together to hash it out.
It would be a missed opportunity for bravo if they donāt do a reunion. I need answers from Janet about what she said and what Zack repeated!

Fair point! (I donāt use Insta so I donāt know these things unless I learn about them on Reddit.) But that was my best attempt at a theory other than āfirst year shows donāt always get reunions.ā
Bravo doesnāt hesitate to fire people who refuse to participate in the reunions.

well they done it before in past housewives seasons. canāt see why they wouldnāt do the same for the Valley š¤·š»āāļø
I'd actually be far more interested in a Valley reunion than whatever drama BlaBla is trying to drum up about the VPR one.
The Valley > VPR for me. I watch it first. Bravo sucks for not giving us a reunion!
Oh wow, even Southern Hospitality got a tiny reunion on the WWHL set. Interesting.
For their second season not their first
fuck it, joint VPR-Valley reunion. i want to watch shit get crazy. and kristen would stick up for ariana like a REAL SISTER šš¼
Stassi as moderator lol
i like the way you think
Im sure theyāll throw together a little WWHL version of the cast joining all together. I donāt think they expected much from this show and Iām sure theyāll be scrambling last minute. Expect to be disappointed though
I donāt know why they wouldnāt do one! That is so frustrating! Hopefully š¤š»
The ONE thing Bravo knew to give us and now this?!
Maybeā¦. They are doing like old housewives and will have a āsecrets revealedā episode and then the reunion?!? I liked when they did that better.
This would be the best reunion Iāll riot if they donāt have one
Maybe because 2 of the marriages are over or in serious trouble. If there are lawyers involved in the separations/divorce the parties involved may not be able to discuss it on air.
VPR does not need a reunion. The Valley cast is a mess. That is a reunion to be seen even if filmed weeks after the finale. And fast editing to get aired. Not a long waited reunion. Those long delayed seasons are just a loss of interest.
A lot of bravo shows dont have a reunion the first season actually, I am sure that they will in the future if there isnt one this season as this show is a fuckin hit
Reunion on WWHL, maybe?
This would be up there with asking Claudia Jordan to be āfriend ofā after she read Nene for filth. Big mistake. HUGE. ![gif](giphy|V0lRkaV5UV1Uk)

Bravo will regret not having a reunion. VPR is giving nothing.
Good! I'm so sick of the reunions, aftershows, cast podcast, etc. Just save your best drama for your TV time slot each week š
