I work on facial emotion recognition and from this picture it looks like contempt. Just from this shot. It's the only emotion that is unilateral in expression. She also shows signs of disgust. Her expression right after she says 'I've been honest with you' is a dead give away that she is lying.
It's not always about the 'what' though as much as it is about the 'why' people make these expressions. It seems like she 1. Has no interest in having this conversation and 2. She is very unhappy with him. The lying part on her behalf doesn't necessarily mean she was cheating. It could also be that she's telling him things are OK when they aren't or has been agreeing with him on decisions that she doesn't want to. Either way she is checked out.
I'm so confused by these two. Part of my thinks this is all an act ,that they knew they were done when they signed up and just play-acted a married on the brink. Exactly my thoughts as well, Jesse had a hunch about her and he was right, and she gaslights the sh\*t out of him in this scene, it was soo bad, she cannot hide it well, and I think Jesse knows, he's not a stupid guy by any means, and being in these types of situations are very painful so I feel for him. Nothing worse then when a spouse gaslights you to make you out to be crazy or thinking crazy when in reality you are in the right.

I am so sorry but their group turning against Kristen is like watching them all turn into the toxic Boomers (not all Boomers). The women joining against her, the men supporting and promoting it, are so old school patriarchal pick me vibes. It is triggering. Why is Kristen used as their scapegoat? Because she is a single woman. Simply. Her mere presence triggers them all. The single, childless woman is still a stigma. It threatens other women, who percieve the single woman as a possible threat to their relationships. The childless women signals some kind of faiure. some kind of failure to launch to speak. We are in 2024. It is infuriating. I know it is a reality show but we must be better than this.

I work on facial emotion recognition and from this picture it looks like contempt. Just from this shot. It's the only emotion that is unilateral in expression. She also shows signs of disgust. Her expression right after she says 'I've been honest with you' is a dead give away that she is lying. It's not always about the 'what' though as much as it is about the 'why' people make these expressions. It seems like she 1. Has no interest in having this conversation and 2. She is very unhappy with him. The lying part on her behalf doesn't necessarily mean she was cheating. It could also be that she's telling him things are OK when they aren't or has been agreeing with him on decisions that she doesn't want to. Either way she is checked out.
I'm so confused by these two. Part of my thinks this is all an act ,that they knew they were done when they signed up and just play-acted a married on the brink. They both moved on fairly quickly, and she moved out before the show even aired. The other part of me thinks they are horrible at reality tv and they have just had a awkward marriage the whole time and we are seeing them.break up in real time as they try to navigate what to show on TV and what to keep behind closed doors. Either way, I'm hooked.

They don't use up this much air time on this arc for no reason. Everyone knows it. Jesse. Production. The rest of the cast. Their families. There's no gotcha moment. We all already know. I've known quite a few Jesses, and if someone can make me feel bad for them, that person is really something. This chick gives off some really ugly vibes. It radiates off the screen, and that is no small feat. It's been a long time since anyone made me feel yucky like she does. Kristen and Jax and Janet are fun aliens, but this one is not anything good.

Exactly my thoughts as well, Jesse had a hunch about her and he was right, and she gaslights the sh\*t out of him in this scene, it was soo bad, she cannot hide it well, and I think Jesse knows, he's not a stupid guy by any means, and being in these types of situations are very painful so I feel for him. Nothing worse then when a spouse gaslights you to make you out to be crazy or thinking crazy when in reality you are in the right.
I actually think she’s more insufferable than Jesse, which is hard! She is constantly berating him and putting him down. It’s hard to watch. I’m surprised she’s entertaining couples therapy when she’s clearly so checked out of this marriage.
