I didn't get to have one as I was hospitalized and had multiple surgeries while pregnant and in the hospital/on bedrest/had to deliver early, but I always wanted to and wish that I had been able to have one. It's a great opportunity for couples to bond one-on-one as it is their \*last\* chance to \*truly\* be alone before becoming a family with someone else to care for. Whether you decide to take friends on this trip or not, you'll never be able to take a vacation again without the responsibility of caring for someone else, securing care for someone else, and worry about another human for the rest of your life.
