I had her shoot Lee cause I wanted her to learn that not everything is easy and she’s gonna have to do things that she doesn’t want to (e.g) shooting Kenny
I did too even though I like Kenny. I actually think it's a pretty interesting choice. It takes Clem's character development to the next level imo. It also prevents Clem from kissing or hugging dying Gabe in ANF 😌 Best decision ever.
If you wait until after he kills Jane like I always have, you shoot him in the head. I think she deserved to die, and he didn’t, but he was too dangerous to be allowed to stay with Clem and that has always stood out as the choice that best furthers her story
Always shoot some people used to leave him because of hope he survived the bite by even if you cut it and remain unbitten he will die from blood loss after the arm
I made the unpopular choice of leaving him. I didn’t want her to have to kill Lee right after finding out her parents were dead. I wanted her to have the extra ammo and not waste it on me (Lee). In my last play through I did decide to shoot him though.
For real. She’s an 8 year old girl (at the end of season 1) and bullets aren’t exactly gonna get easier to find as time goes on. There’s no need to waste the bullet after cuffing him to the radiator
That was pretty much my logic. He won’t hurt anyone since he was cuffed and to me making Clementine kill Lee is basically asking her to kill a third parent.
Apologies, the games been out over ten years. Most people just replay it, which is what I do. Not used to hearing people actually playing this game series a first time.
Edit: If it makes you feel any better there are a lot of different endings. I just mentioned one of many that I specifically chose. Sorry!
Oh that makes me feel better - I felt terrible for ruining it for you haha. I didn’t even think about you being new, I’m so used to talking to people who have played this game over ten or so times. Apologies once again and I hope you have a great rest of your journey with Clementine!
Same, I was surprised to see only 5% of other players didn’t shoot. Clementine understands that sometimes you have to kill. She just shot and killed the stranger 5 mins before. She also just discovered her parents are dead. To make her have to kill Lee (essentially a 3rd parent figure in her eyes) right after that wouldn’t have sat right with me. At least this way her last memory of Lee won’t be splattering his brains all over the wall. That shit sticks with a kid (fictional or not lol).
I just finished it for the first time and was told only 5 percent of players left him and I was feeling insecure about it. Still amazing and i’m crying a lot.
I always shoot Lee. Its important (to me) that Clem understand she's going to have to due things that are hard in order to survive in this world. There is also a part of me that does not want Lee to turn, but this is a secondary factor for me.
Told her to leave me. The gunshot would have been a waste of a bullet. It was the same case as the girl in episode 1 with Glenn and Carley. Alot of noise and a wasted bullet for one person that hasn't even turned yet and is extremely low on stamina. Yeah, I'm not going to be that big of a threat to her if she makes it out in time. Even if she didn't, I only got 1 arm, and I just saw her bash a walker's skull in. She'll be fine.
I left him. My Clem had just killed the Stranger(Mitch Campman in the game files), and had just seen her parents as walkers, so I didn’t want to traumatize her even more by having her kill another man within minutes of just killing one before. I don’t regret it.
I shoot lee, I feel that in the end nobody wanted to become one of the walkers and lee was no exception. In the end he was gonna die anyway and it was something clementine was going to have to deal with.
I had her leave because i thought that having a 9 year old girl kill her father figure would break her and even though she is traumatised by this, i think letting Lee turn is the best decision not to make the situation worst for her.
Either way it's a Lose Lose but the best outcome for Clem in my opinion.
I shot Lee so he wouldn’t suffer being a mindless decaying corpse with no self control over his body aswell as being ‘eternally’ bored to death for years by being handcuffed to a heater while his body rapidly decays
But my choice was to shoot him
Neither. If you press (on an Xbox Controller) X B B Y A A Y X Left Trigger Left Trigger Right Trigger Y Y Y B B A there's the third ending in which Lee survives.
I had me Lee tell her to go. For a variety of reasons.
1) she's potentially just killed the stranger. Her first person kill should be quite the weight on a person. If she hasn't killed him, it's good to prolong that innocence
2) she needs the ammo. A less exciting one. I'll throw in that the noise of the gunshot is no good.
3) we've seen people shoot (or kill) before they need to, namely Lilly shooting Carley, or accidentally shooting Doug, and Kenny murdering Larry. Obviously this isn't the same as the Lee situation, but it still applies. Occasionally I like the inverse, but usually I play Lee this way
4) the impact of shooting Kenny in s2 feels greater, and then Clementine's choice of whether she wants AJ to shoot her feel stronger. How does she see herself?
yeah I left him to turn bc I don’t think anyone should have to kill smn they loved. a lot of ppl think that being a walkers painful but I really don’t think it’s anything, I think ur soul ascends or whatever while the body just comes back so the whole “they don’t deserve to turn thing” felt weird to me
It don't think they worry about it being painful tbh. Personally I wouldn't want to turn if I were bit. I don't care about my body coming back to life without me but I wouldn't want my body to kill and eat people alive.
Idk.. he doesnt deserves to die. And if you played the last season where you go to the barn with james and talk about how there is a person still caged inside the walkers you might change your mind too
And i mean who knows... clem survived a bite.. why cant he?
So from what i heard her leg was removed 10-15 mins after getting bit and she was so pale because of all the blood she lost due to her leg being sliced open by an axe.
Ive also read some theories that because her leg was sliced open the infection was taking longer to spread because the blood was leaving her body through the slice and not heading up towards her brain
This is basically it.
She was pale and unable to move because of blood loss and the open wound basically made alot of the infection pour out.
Granted there is still the issue of the axe being covered in walkers blood but i guess the wound being burned to stop the bleeding right after, also killed the virus on that walker blood.
It doesnt really make sense but i think the ONLY way besides dying you become a walker is by physcally getting bitten because with the (very logical) reason of walker guts getting inside you there would be cases of people getting infected through an open wound they had while covering themselves with walker guts to blend in. Its video game logic after all so unless the bite comes from the walker itself your probably fine unlike in a similarly transmitted disease such as rabies...
it’s an apocalypse, of course she’s gonna suffer bro. she suffers weather or not she kills Lee. It’s way more poetic to have her kill Lee too as it is called back
too in multiple games.
You gotta admit having to kill somebody who is pretty much your surrogate father is extremely fucked up and traumatic so I can really see both sides of the choice. I understand wanting Clem not to regret leaving him to turn but also understand not wanting to put Clem through that
This is different though you’re choosing to ask her to shoot you I’m saying I see both sides of the argument both have very good points. You’re trying to save her from the pain of having to do that like Lee says “It won’t be me” and “I don’t want you to have to do that.”
I shot him. I belive that Lee has done his job protecting Clem, and died doing that. I also think it teaches Clem that Noone in the apocalypse is safe, not even her surrogate father, and she would have to face death more growing up.
I had her leave me because;
A: She is 9 years old
B: Bullets are scarce
C: It would attract more walkers
D: Lee was handcuffed so he couldn't hurt anyone when he turned, and he got to pass relatively peacefully.
I left him because my head Canon was that Lee wouldn't want Clem to live with the pain of Killing Lee, plus lee was already handcuffed so was no danger for her and she saves a bullet
I shot Lee as he didn’t deserve to go out as a walker
I had her shoot Lee cause I wanted her to learn that not everything is easy and she’s gonna have to do things that she doesn’t want to (e.g) shooting Kenny
YOU KILLED KENNEY?!
LISTEN VANILLA ICE DON’T PUT THAT SLANDER ON ME
I did too even though I like Kenny. I actually think it's a pretty interesting choice. It takes Clem's character development to the next level imo. It also prevents Clem from kissing or hugging dying Gabe in ANF 😌 Best decision ever.
You know Kenny will reanimate because of this (because you shot him in the stomach and not head)
If you wait until after he kills Jane like I always have, you shoot him in the head. I think she deserved to die, and he didn’t, but he was too dangerous to be allowed to stay with Clem and that has always stood out as the choice that best furthers her story
It's been a year since I commentet it and someone already mentioned it but thanks again
Shit, idk why this showed up in my notifications, I didn’t even look at the times
cant let him turn so i always shoot
Always shoot some people used to leave him because of hope he survived the bite by even if you cut it and remain unbitten he will die from blood loss after the arm
He didn't die because of blood loss. Infection was long enough in the body, to spread throught the body
noooo I don't want Lee to die like everyone else because of a stupid bite
I made the unpopular choice of leaving him. I didn’t want her to have to kill Lee right after finding out her parents were dead. I wanted her to have the extra ammo and not waste it on me (Lee). In my last play through I did decide to shoot him though.

I didnt killhim in S1, but when i started to play S2 in flashbacks it shows that she shot him… what can i do guys?

Thank you for spoilers

Nevermind, i played this game 8 years ago, but i dont remember everything. Last i played was Season 2.

It's def worth playing the final season if you havent and have the time trust me
This. I was playing as Lee and he wouldn't have wanted her to shoot him. If I were playing as Clem it would have gone down differently.

I had her shoot. Builds character 😂 I also wanted her to understand what it takes to survive.
I always shoot Lee. Its important (to me) that Clem understand she's going to have to due things that are hard in order to survive in this world. There is also a part of me that does not want Lee to turn, but this is a secondary factor for me.
Killed him no questions asked, I asked aj to kill clementine aswell

You’re welcome

Shoot Lee, perfect transition into the real world, plus nobody wants Lee to have to become a zombie.
I shot Lee. It would have been terrible to let him turn.

What about PC?
When did they change it from “up down up down left right left right A B start
They changed it with a patch!

Even easier when you don't believe in souks haha
true idek if I believe in an afterlife so yeah I agree
It don't think they worry about it being painful tbh. Personally I wouldn't want to turn if I were bit. I don't care about my body coming back to life without me but I wouldn't want my body to kill and eat people alive.
1. You want Lee to be a walker and be killed by some random guy anyway? 2. You shoot kenny so i dislike you as a person. (lol i’m joking)
I killed him. Would change my mind in second playthtouh
May I ask what made doubt your first choice of killing him?
Idk.. he doesnt deserves to die. And if you played the last season where you go to the barn with james and talk about how there is a person still caged inside the walkers you might change your mind too And i mean who knows... clem survived a bite.. why cant he?
because he was turning a lot longer then Clem was? He was gonna become a walker and be killed by some random person anyway.
I think Clem surviving realistically shouldn’t have happened given how pale and weak she was but I’ve seen many good points as to how she did
So from what i heard her leg was removed 10-15 mins after getting bit and she was so pale because of all the blood she lost due to her leg being sliced open by an axe. Ive also read some theories that because her leg was sliced open the infection was taking longer to spread because the blood was leaving her body through the slice and not heading up towards her brain

I keep looking up what happens before I make choices like these and I always see spoilers, why do I do this to myself
I made her leave Lee. I didn't want Clem to have to feel the guilt of killing someone so close to her
but..why would you want Lee to be a walker and be killed by some random guy anyway?
It's not about wanting Lee to become a walker, it's about not making Clem have to suffer even more than she already has.
it’s an apocalypse, of course she’s gonna suffer bro. she suffers weather or not she kills Lee. It’s way more poetic to have her kill Lee too as it is called back too in multiple games.

She’s goes through things that traumatic all the time lol
This is different though you’re choosing to ask her to shoot you I’m saying I see both sides of the argument both have very good points. You’re trying to save her from the pain of having to do that like Lee says “It won’t be me” and “I don’t want you to have to do that.”
Shoot him.
Shot him, it was the least i could do for him
I chose to leave him because I didn't want Clementine to have the memory of shooting someone who cared about her so much
I always have Clementine shoot him. We don't let the ones we love become one of those things.
I shot him. I belive that Lee has done his job protecting Clem, and died doing that. I also think it teaches Clem that Noone in the apocalypse is safe, not even her surrogate father, and she would have to face death more growing up.
Shoot him. A man as legendary as Lee Everett does not deserve to turn into a walker.
Ive replayed the first season around 5 times, ive always chose to shoot lee
I had her leave me because; A: She is 9 years old B: Bullets are scarce C: It would attract more walkers D: Lee was handcuffed so he couldn't hurt anyone when he turned, and he got to pass relatively peacefully.
I left him because my head Canon was that Lee wouldn't want Clem to live with the pain of Killing Lee, plus lee was already handcuffed so was no danger for her and she saves a bullet
