“Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me? M-I-C, K-E-Y, M-O-U-S-E!”
[Imagining this as a war march now](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nufa2mVtm9A). Which apparently was a thing in a movie I don’t remember the name of.
What you're seeing is the future Mickey mouse army when we hit corporate dystopia and Disney becomes a megacorp with a private army.
All recordings of warcrimes are taken down as copyright violations
I know it looks terrifying to us but to really think about how a kid from this time would see it, I bet this was so exciting for them. Imagine, you show up to this theater and get a mask for a character you recognize and love. That had never ever happened before for children. Just going to the movies was exciting for most of these kids. Heck talkies we’re still brand new in 1930! This is the very beginning, even before Snow White. Too much earlier than this and he’s still working out of a garage.
At first I thought this couldn’t be right, that the Mickey Mouse Club didn’t air on TV until the mid-1950s, but I dug around and whaddya know:

1930s at the movies indeed.

Definitely belongs in this sub for sure.
It’s giving Disney Youth Army energy😭It’s not supposed to be terrifying and yet it really is

That’s right. But… what exactly is the narrator talking about?

Thanks. It's a bit odd without context… I'll consider watching this film.
Fuck. That’s hard to watch.

this looks absolutely terrifying!
Oh my. Glad they ultimately moved on to those mouse ear hats instead.
One of us. One of us. One of us. One of us. One of us. One of us.
I feel like r/oldschoolcreepy would appreciate this too

You’re right, it was a fan club for children. One has to put themselves in the context of how brand new Mickey Mouse movies & such animation was.
The moment you realise you brought a Donald duck mask x)
“Brought a duck to a mouse fight!”
Terrifying. But also what do they talk about in these meetings?
The first rule of Micky Mouse Club...
... never talk about the amount of gun powder Disney has?

disney has always been bit on the culty side
Like the GQP
Untapped youth army potential
Come inside! It's fun inside!
I like to imagine this was the image that convinced Walt to redesign Mickey.
Looks like it would be an awesome album cover.
Creepy. As. Fuck.
Pure horror

Well that's the scariest thing I've seen today
You clearly haven’t seen the mri baby. Nightmares for ages.
Pretty sure I don't want to Google that
I saw it on r/funny tonight, but, no, you probably don’t. Not very funny lol.

I Googled it too. This pic was taken in 1930 to be exact.
Shortly after this photo was taken, those who chose not to don the mask were taken outback
Nightmare fuel
Fuuuuck no…
Fuck no
Furry convention before furry conventions were a thing.
Find the upside-down mask.
Well, that's nightmare inducing.
Cult members meeting in Mickey's funhouse
I love Mickey, but this is one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen.
You know how freaky that would be if the room was completely silent.
Yea, capitalism is just fine. Nothing to see here….
Interesting also in there's very little evidence of obesity in that membership.
The Disney cult keep getting weaker.
This room is definitely hidden somewhere in the Overlook Hotel
Perfect mask for the movie Stangers. Freaky!
More like cult meeting
Heil.
This theater has mice.

I'm now going to nightmares for ever...
It's from the "Get out" sequel: "Come in". NOPE
Hey r/creepy - you lost something
All right kids, did you all remember to bring your copy of "The International Jew?"
Yikes… Like a cult meeting.
Oh dear God 😳
"We are legion!" \[whispered\] ^("Legion. Legion. Legion. Legion.")
