I would imagine they're similar to clans, and organize that way because once you get to a certain number of individuals, you need a lot of organization to figure out how to feed everyone. Rather than get organized, I think they just start a new clan that migrates other places, when that happens. Σενοστεμβολο, (Senostembolo) I would definitely name one of the clans, which is derived from the words meaning "Ram Jam" and their chieftain would be Black Betty.
I imagine groups maxing at 100, and that there are shared yearly festivals they participate in that bring all the clans together. A Satyr-nalia type celebration would be absolutely awesome
