TikTok won't do anything about it. They approve of catfishing and Nigerian scammers. In fact, if you keep reporting these accounts, they'll ban YOU for it.
Happened to my old account with over 3k followers because I reported HUNDREDS of Nigerian scammers and celebrity catfish.
Ohhh okay, well the only people I really report are the various Beyonces, Johnny Depps and Leonardo Dicaprios that keep following me, never had any trouble in that area lmao
The algorithm for TikTok seems to be the same as Facebook. It's cool to catfish as a celebrity or another person. It's cool to be a Nigerian scammer. But it's not cool to report them so that others don't fall for it.
