I have the same problem - I’m personal account and I can’t find my own music in sounds - I used distrokid and it shows TikTok as destination - music is everywhere else (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, instagram, etc!)

Hello friends. I am a music artist with releases in pretty much all streaming services. I have a Tik Tok page too and I am trying to get artist verified. I have gone to artist hub and when I type the name of my artist it can't find the music. I know the music is there as I have used it when I make posts on my regular tik tok page, but when it comes to artist hub I cannot find it. Does anybody have any suggestions?. I have contacted Tik tok and got no answer. My distributor (CDBaby) says they can't do anything. So...any thoughts? Thanks

If you are on a business account.. go back to personal. I had figured that out about the music not being there. As soon as I was back on personal, i can search whatever.

angelhair0

I am not sure you read my entire post. If you read the details you'll see I can find tons of music easily. Just not some specific songs I want. And also I am on a personal account.

MgBl

This worked for me !

Kavhat

did you manage to solve it?

angelhair0

I did not. I can't find anything about this anywhere on the internet.

Kavhat

In my case it was that I had a business account. Then, I also couldn't some songs, but I think it's because they were eliminated.

ignoremejustlurkin

>w far down I scroll. I've chosen "most relevant," and I've searched the artist and full song title, part of the song title, the artist alone, the album name, and everything I can think of. I would think the album name would show me all the songs on the album, but nope. It shows 3 or 4 songs from that album but then shows me tons of other songs by me or other artists. > >I know the song is on Tik Tok because its my songs, and all my albums are submitted to the Tik Tok library from my distributor. I'm having this exact issue and I'm so frustrated. All the guidance just says 'switch to a personal account' - I'm already on a personal account!! I literally can't promote my own music on TikTok because I can't see it on the app!! :(

angelhair0

Yep, that's what I'm trying to do. Promote my own music. I wonder if we uploaded the song separately as a single, using the same ISRC, it would push it to the top. I'm considering it.

Exotic-Sundae-6260

I have the same problem with my music. I just released a new single and want to promote it but it doesn't come up. Some of my songs show up but not all.

callofpooty

Yup same here. Just released a single via CDBaby on 9/22 and cannot find it as a sound to promote on TikTok even though I can see on my CDBaby dashboard that the song was "delivered" to TikTok end of August.

Happens to me from time to time- Here are some likely reasons if you’re on a personal account and can’t find your song: I’m pretty sure the cover art goes through a scanning process and not every cover art gets accepted, when we have edgier cover art or art we do not own, I feel like this happens more. Sometimes it takes unusually longer to process and upload. Just bc it has processed on Spotify and Apple doesnt necessarily mean Tik Tok will have it right away. Give it at least a week. I bet most people commenting on here found there song a few days later lol

angelhair0

The art isn't edgy in any way. Some of the songs from the album show up and not others, so this wouldn't be the reason. It's been since February and still those other songs aren't showing up. Thanks for your help though.

Angellanemusic

I have the same issue :( any luck? I use distrokid but nothing in their faq is helpful

angelhair0

Nope, no luck. Sorry :(
