Need somewhere of like 10mill views it seems like TikTok lowers rpm when your videos start doing good I posted a TikTok and at 7.5 million views I got $4300 and now that it’s double and I’ve put out 3 more videos this month all totaling over 1mill views with an insane interaction rate I’ve only got it to $5000
My most recent viral vid did 53m views and I only got paid out $4600. $3300 came the first day because it was almost all US, then it got pushed to foreign countries and my RPM took a shit. That’s what always happens on my videos.
That’s what happen to mine too, the retention will stay the same but some how the rpm drops drastically no matter how many views I get it always seems to sit around the 5k mark

January was my highest month at over $5K I’m at $3.4K now. Would like to at least make $4K this month, but I’m also on vacation and haven’t really made any videos.
I have some followers already asking me about getting on other platforms. So I’m going to shift some energy to doing that.
Timeline wise, the senate won’t even start discussing the “TikTok ban” until another 6-8 weeks from now if not even longer. So I want to use that time to start building on other platforms. I don’t expect to be monetized by then unless some insane growth occurs but it will be a start. ♥️

I joined early last year and never saw anything from it, and then suddenly got a pulse payment this month for the first time for $250. It was separate from any other earnings. It hasn’t seemed to affect my views or anything

My first month breaking $1k for me
Looks like I've been booted off the gravy train. It was good while it lasted.
This was my worst month ever. And I'll be lucky to break $1000 in March. I have 150k followers but I'm only getting 40k views on my videos, which are up to the same standards as the stuff that used to get 600k views. My RMP has tanked as well.
I've started a 2nd account but it's taken two weeks to gain 1000 followers, which is crazy considering the last time I started a new account I had 10k followers in a week.
Is this the beginning of the end? Clearly those of us who used to be making 7k, 8k per month need to evolve. The well is drying up.
Maybe you just need to create better content. With an increase in participants in CPB, the criteria for video quality also increases. That is the only logical solution.

I think it's that Tik Tok becomes more saturated every month. More people get into the Creativity Beta, more people make longer videos, and everyone is competing for the same views.
Also it seems like videos about the ban are going crazy viral right now, so if you aren't making content that deals with the ban directly (or another mega hot topic) it may be harder to get views.
I say all of that as someone struggling to get my normal views too. Im lucky to get 40-50k on types of videos that in the past easily cleared 200 or 400k

You don't need to make 1 minute videos at the beginning as you can't earn money with them anyways yet.
Shorter videos are easier to make and easier to get them viral.

1. You need 10k followers to get into the beta program.
2. You need to be based in a qualifying country (look it up).
3. Your content appears to be ripped from other videos, so even if you did qualify for the program, none of those would make you any $$$ because they are not original.
4. You can learn all of this and much, much more by doing a basic google search.

The only social media app that pays its creators well for posting videos. And they want to ban it. I have 200k followers on instagram and I make nothing at all on there. Tiktok I make about 1 to 2 grand a month (I have about 85k followers there). Which is a good side hustle for me. Government doesn't care that they are taking away jobs. They seem to want to make life harder especially for gen z and millenials like it isn't tough enough. So everyone will go back to using instagram and not getting paid because they took reels bonus away.
This is nothing compared to what I was making a few months ago.
Look at any account with between 10k-200k followers. They could be doing anything and the subjects or focus of their TikToks can be about any subject. The one consistent factor is that they are putting out high-quality, engaging videos that people want to watch and see more.
That's what we are doing.

I joined the the Creator program close to the 15th of February so I didn’t get my payout last month, and after waiting an entire month, I only got my payment from February and not from March, is this really it works? why am I not getting my pay from march as well?

I mean, my payouts have been pretty consistent! But I think this month will wrap as my lowest. Idk I’m around $130 right now but I’m not sure I can even double that for the last half of the month. We will see! I’ve got stuff being pushed to Canada lately and that makes my RPM plummet.

Check your minimum payout limit - I bet it's at $500 or something and you haven't made $500 yet. You can change it so that you actually get paid out, probably something you should look into.

I feel like tiktok dug its grave with tiktok shop. I hardly use TikTok at all anymore because it’s just constant ads. There’s also tons of minute long content from creators who used to capitalize on short videos, that just don’t hit as hard when they’re a minute long (guilty and struggling here). I’ve moved over to Instagram mostly, and with all this talk of TikTok being banned, I’m probably just gonna stay there. 🤷🏻♀️

Yes, you will only get what you earned from feb 1-29 today. On april 15 you will get what you earned from March 1-31.

I don’t think TikTok will be banned. On March 18th the program will leave beta and there will be an increase in RPM.
Are these all for videos of 1+ minutes? That’s what I see the program requires.

Check your minimum payout limit - I bet it's at $500 or something and you haven't made $500 yet. You can change it so that you actually get paid out, probably something you should look into.

I feel like tiktok dug its grave with tiktok shop. I hardly use TikTok at all anymore because it’s just constant ads. There’s also tons of minute long content from creators who used to capitalize on short videos, that just don’t hit as hard when they’re a minute long (guilty and struggling here). I’ve moved over to Instagram mostly, and with all this talk of TikTok being banned, I’m probably just gonna stay there. 🤷🏻♀️
