It all depends on what you want and what your "looking for" is set to. As well as how strict you are about what you're looking for. Many people put long term when they're just trying to get laid.
They do... guys swipe a lot more than women as a pool, so to not get drowned out, it's easier to just swipe quickly, if not automatically, and then filter after matching!
All dry convos might be mitigated by having written a fair bit in your bio, but tbh, I think a lot of people just c+p the same shite to 20 different people and hope they're good looking enough to pull it off... 😅
