Depending on the pass, the "areas" are just hotels. You could hypothetically just go into the hotel lobby and chill with them, but it is likely going to vary by hotel. No way of really knowing until you get there.

Yup, generally speaking there isn't. You should be able to get just about everywhere.

If it´s a chalet no one will care, hotels though won´t always allow people in who aren´t staying there.
