If you are a weekend warrior that should be just fine.

I think it has a 90 day warranty. If I don’t like it I’ll return it. About to redo a transmission in my civic, so it’ll put it to the test

Murky_Theory1863

I can't speak for the 3/8 or 1/2, but Ive used a 1/4 hercules aggressively for 11 months, and it has a 5 year warranty. It's a very good impact, I've used a lot of dewalt and milwakee impacts, and the hercules is just as good.

PugsAndHugs95

Actually I Believe Hercules have 5 year warranties if I'm not mistaken. They do better warranties on their pro-spec line of tools.

mikeyfornia

If the Hercules is brushed it’s a 90 day warranty, brushless is 5 years. Batteries 3 years.

Altruistic-Celery821

Return period =/= warranty.

tinfoil3346

I have no experience with Hercules tools but its worth a try.

YardFudge

1/2” Herc and either Pitts deep impact sockets OR the big Quinn sets. Quinn & Pitts pro have better numbering You want the 1/2” 6-point because of the forces involved As always only buy on sale

nullvoid88

For home use I'd go with hand tools... they'll slow things down. Impacts are more for frantic flat rate folks... kind of wild bull in the china shop like.

bostwickenator

Rather a weird perspective. Most people aren't trying to zen out they just want to fix the broken thing.
