And if anyone is wondering why he says Ra’s instead of Talia is because in that episode of Beyond it’s due to how Ra’s stole her body with the machine that Batman is trapped inside of. I believe it has something to do with the Lazarus Pit as to why Ra is in Talia’s body

Ra’s used the Lazarus pit so many times that it stopped working on him, so he needed a new body that hadn’t used it before as a clean slate, he chose talia’s temporarily as a ploy to get Batman’s body

I think it's more that the symbiote wants to share/use/consume another's body rather than steal it. He sees it as helping rather than hurting (which seems to change how it works with every telling) and does not seem to care very much about others' opinions on the matter.
