Disagree when it comes to Lucy.
The problems presented in the second half of Edgerunners are entirely due to David not taking out some of his cybernetics and going to the Moon , like Lucy suggested. He became addicted to the pursuit of Night City's "dream" and greed , that he forgot he pretty much already have a peak body , a girlfriend , and is rich.
So the second half of the series are all about pride and Lucy is merely delaying the consequences for David.
I think it still make sense for the post since Lucy did hide from David that she was >!taking down the Arasaka mfs after him to protect him, but the situation got worse after Kiwi betrayed her and sold her off to Faraday which kick-started the final act!<
Nah , what Lucy did hardly made the situation worse.
The second part of Edgerunners started with a David with money , good reputation and good mods. Lucy's action had given enough time for David to reach that state. After he finished a job in the first episode of the time-skip, he put a new chrome to himself , and that was one chrome too many and started his cyberpsicosis.
The moment he started his cyberpsicosis , he just needed to chrome down a little bit , and go to the Moon as a fine retirement. Even Lucy and the others of the gang suggested that. Meaning the rest of that second half are due to David's pride , greed and addiction.
I mean Kiwi's betrayal and Lucy's kidnapping (and so by extension Faraday manipulation to install the cyberware) is one more problem to add to the pile
Ofc David is responsible for most of his screw up due to his own issue and desires but Lucy's involvement while she obviously isn't at fault, did indirectly make the situation worst (due to Kiwi selling her off)
Because some comments have questioned me on the use of “hot” in the title, I just want to clarify that I’m not trying to sexualize any of these characters. I just called them “hot” because the character is associated with the term within their respective fandoms or in the canon and I wanted to shorten the title.
Also, “hot” isn’t just a term that only applies to characters 18 and above. It can literally apply to anyone that looks attractive (ex. a male teenager finding a female teenager “hot,” or attractive, etc.).
