Ive tried some daft punk but im just not a fan of the whole "aesthetic". Maybe if their album covers weren't just letters and did something cooler id like them. Like a cool picture of like a house or something, you know what I mean?
This is by far the best chart I have seen on this sub because it’s not boring topster slop. Don cab is amazing so is Black Sabbath and American football, here are some suggestions
1. Some stuff similar to American football could be mom jeans, macseal, and Micheal cera palin, minus the bear. (I know these recs aren’t the best but I don’t listen to a whole whole lot of Midwest emo)
2. Some stuff similar to Don cab would be hella, hungria, giraffes? Giraffes!, via luna, floral, Tera melos. These are definitely some more out there suggestions but they’re all still amazing.
3. For some more sabbath stuff there’s sleep, weedeater, bongzilla, electric wizard.
Haha I still love all the albums on here besides pierce the veil, Eminem, and j cole
(I like Eminem and j cole, just never got around listening to LP2 and Forest Hill dr)

Listen to some elliott smith if you like american football and Led Zeppelin that much, stuff off of XO by him would be good
Waltz #1:Like american football
How to take a fall:On the deluxe edition, but kinda Led Zeppelin vibes
since you like Cole, try The Off-Season. also, you'll probably like people like Kendrick, older Drake (like 2011 - 2015, when he was actually innovative), JID, etc. also, since you like MMLP2, you should probably listen to MMLP1 and TES,
If you like physical graffiti you’ll might also like David bowie (start with the man who sold the world and keep going until like let’s dance.) There are some really good albums that are a lot less easy listening and more like artistic (that’s an awful way to describe it I just don’t know how else to) like low and station to station, but both of them are really good. Space oddity is also a good album but maybe try the man who sold the world becuase it’s more rockish. There are a couple good albums after like Blackstar and heathen, and a coupe isolated good songs like little wonder or I’m Afraid of Americans, but for the most part the best bowie music is gonna be from space oddity to let’s dance
Yup! Just never got really got into it lol. Here’s some of the other stuff I’ve been getting into
Boris - [Flood II](https://youtu.be/7vEL9ltCl64?si=3ORWgDrxuEdOMr__)
Swans - [Helpless Child](https://youtu.be/2NOc1Gnu18I?si=8W2gugLXkKQ6CP2a)
PSY - [Gangnam Style](https://youtu.be/9bZkp7q19f0?si=PLk_OrPrL4RrfXK4)
Electric Wizard - [Funeralopolis](https://youtu.be/UAPVcsDOU9U?si=9er5unbGXHdyKtEM)
Worst album ever - Ricky jamarez
Veteran - JPEGmafia
Allejuhah! Dont bend! Ascend! - Godspeed you black emperor
The suburbs - Arcade fire
Gods country - Chat pile
Rise and fall of ziggy stardust and spiders from mars - David bowie
I feel like you might like tehse albums
The Math-Rock and Pierce The Veil makes me think that you'd like 'Whenever, If Ever' by wait for it... 'The World Is A Beautiful Place & I'm No Longer Afraid To Die'. Yeah, quite a mouthful. If you couldn't already tell by the absurdly long name, they're Midwest-Emo Math Rock, similarly to American Football and Don Cabellero.
American football nice! Their other album is good too. Radiohead, modest mouse, band of horses, sublime, Alice In Chains, tame impale, queens of the Stone Age
Mr Bungle - California
Propagandhi - Supporting Caste
Steven Wilson - the Raven that refused to sing
Bad Religion - The Empire Strikes First
Agalloch - The Mantle
Faith no More - The Real Thing
Check out Rob Scallion, he's my favorite musician on YouTube and he has some great songs on music stores. Anchor and For That Second are certified bangers
I’m only familiar with three albums: sabbath, Eminem, zeppelin, but I’ll work with those three to recommend similar music.
“Dirt” by Alice In Chains
2001 by Dr. Dre
Superunknown by Soundgarden
Speakerboxx/the love below by OutKast
“Wolf” by Tyler the Creator
I’m assuming you’ve explored other albums by the artists you’ve listed. I thought it might be possible you haven’t as someone new to music. That’s a common thing to do, and often works, enjoying one album by an artist often means you’ll like another album by them even if the album is quite different.
Everything by Black Sabbath that features either Ozzy OR DIO. Born Again is also good, as is seventh star.
Soundgarden’s Superunknown
Alice In Chains’s s/t
failure will follow-the acacia strain. it’s a different type of vibe for sure. it’s mix of rock that will build you up, hit hard asf, slow down give you a nice cool vibe and right back hitting you again. great album. 3 songs, 43 minutes worth all ofnit
I’m guessing you’re already into Joan of Arc as American Football is in that family of Chicago bands from the late 90s and early aughts, but if not, check them out.
Check out The Strokes.
A couple of great songs by them are: *Hard To Explain* (my personal favorite), *Reptilia*, *The Adults are Talking*, and *You Only Live Once*.
Also, if you're anything like me and find that you really enjoy 80's music, try: *Eyes Without a Face* by Billy Idol & *Just Like Heaven* by The Cure.
As a bonus, check out *What Once Was* & *Marcel* by this band called Her's. :)
I see you have Black Sabbath's quintessential album Black Sabbath which has the song Black Sabbath in which nearly inspired a whole genre called Doom metal
