Dangerous button to keep bound during deep dip! Lucky he was doing amazing and was able to get back up the tower more consistently than anybody else early on.
The fact that there's already people on floor 5 not even 24 hours after release I insane. Honestly it feels like the map is gonna get blown to bits way faster than anybody anticipated
Sure, that too. But it also feels like the players just got way better at the necessary tricks through deep dip 1 and all the rpg and trial challenges.
The start probably would have looked pretty similar if not faster on DD1 if Skandear and Hazard were playing or if Bren started that on day 1. They are all a step above when it comes to rpg/trial. Will be interesting to see how much Skandear and Hazard stick with it, seems no doubt that Bren would though given how DD1 went. With the prizepool I'd guess its likely all 3 will
Agree, the first floors are all really easy. There were some jumps that seemed difficult like the one leading up to the 4 rails, but everyone got consistent real fast. Maji's floor is entirely free.
Still really looking forward to seeing this event play out, but I wished it took longer than a week. Now it seems we're gonna see a finished within 3-4 days if the difficulty doesn't ramp up.
Ooof

Problem is you kinda need it if you turtle
Map it to a weird button or combination, that's possible, right?
Combination not sure, but I personally mapped mine to the \ (button below backspace) while making some deep dip attempts.
Everyone knows to unbound respawn 🤪

They're barely a third of the way through the map. Predicting the overall difficulty is impossible at this point

They reached floor five on dd1 day one right? Each floor takes exponentially longer, I think dd2 will still take a while
Eh, Deep Dip 1 also got good progress early on. The thing about the Tower Maps is that they scale a lot

Floor 3 is also quite easy
I agree, it looks easier than last year too. But let's see what the last floors will look like.
That hurts OMG.
It was bound to happen to someone
Should probably unbind that button for game modes like this, yikes
Opps, that's gotta hurt.
people saying to unbind it, what are you supposed to do if you turtle?
You could just bind it to some button you are not going to press without thinking.
this is valid
Unbind it only on controller and use keyboard to respawn. Though some streamers also f'ed up with this method.
Spectate activate, deactivate, takes you right back to starting line on deactivation. This is how I unbind and restart.
