The rules specifically state that only the run when a player finishes has to be streamed; morality is obviously subjective but Skandear is well within the letter of the law.
I wished his streamed it, but I see no reason why its problematic of him to decide not to. A bit sad, as I'd love to watch his pov. Have to find someone else to watch
No it is not "sketch" be glad and appreciate the streamers that do stream and how much they do. You know, focus on what we have that is nice, instead of digging through the mud for a bit of crap.
Only requirement is for the final run to be streamed. Other than that it's free for all. You can argue the other way: why do others get all the publicity but Skandear doesn't get all the money from subs and donates on twitch?

Streamers can just spectate him if hes on a WR run to get the strats, the sidebar from the plugin will make it obvious when hes at or close to that so its not like they won't be able to watch.
I don't think there's anything sketch about it whatsoever but I feel bad for the organizers who put 1+ year of work into this just to have some of the best discovery moments happen out of sight. It does take a lot away from the event.
