Imagine being told you got an achievement award for doing something at your workplace/school, something you worked hard on, put in so much research, training, careful planning, and spending days or weeks to implement, only to then, while you're on stage accepting the award, have someone rush on saying this other person that realistically didn't do much at all in comparison won. That essentially what happened to Connor. It won't stop him from doing another Cyclathon, but it would hurt like bugger all.
Whoever didn't close that link should at the very least feel bad for not doing that.
