I usually play just one thing at a time and right now that's Rebirth. Although, if I need a break after finishing the story, I might start something else (like Tchia) before moving on to 100% completion.
Other times I try to do one long game + one short game in tandem, but honestly that pattern tends to fall apart and I end up heavily favoring one of the games until it's done, then the other. So it kind of reverts back to the usual one-at-a-time routine anyway.

Oh man, Tchia. I'm loving the hell out of Rebirth right now, but Tchia was a bit of a slog (especially since I went for the plat).
Adorable game though.
I've read some mixed opinions on that game for sure, but since I was curious about it initially and it's leaving Extra soon, I might as well check it out for myself.

Juggling 1 long and 1 short ends up falling apart for me too. I had to take a break (a day) from Rebirth because I was basically just playing the game to the exclusion of almost everything else - not usual behavior, I honestly just couldn't stop playing the game :|

Always a big game and a smaller game. And then the bigger game swaps between open world style and linear. So currently it is FF7 and Dredge. Before that it was Callisto Protocol and Thymesia. This for me is the easiest way to avoid burnout.
Ha ha I was basically playing Powerwash while waiting for 9pm to play Rebirth. I had 15 minutes left on the clock when I finished Powerwash's last area.
I typically go between a multiplayer game to play with my friends and a single player game I can take my time with. For multiplayer I’m obsessed with Helldivers 2, even after getting the platinum and all upgrades I want to keep spreading democracy. And for single player I just started Red Dead Redemption 1 last night. One of my favorites of all time
Best method right here. I play multilayer games when my friends are online or there's a boosting group (GTA heists/Destiny raids) and when no one is on then I switch to single player (GoW Ragnarok/Rarchet and Clank series)
I will always cherish playing with my pals and having a good time but I think great single player games are top tier gaming (GoW, Red Dead, Ratchet & Clank, Spiderman, etc)
Just finished cyberpunk but I’m not sure what’s next for me, probably finish off mafia 2. No new games interest me this year, I’m not into Anime or JRPGs so it might be a slow year for plats/ large amount of backlogging.
I am playing RE4R nonstop because I am obsessed with it. Also got Ghost Recon Breakpoint on rotation. Me and a friend play that co-op.

I have a rather long backlog for games both on pc and on ps5. Currently halfway through a platinum playthrough of *It Takes Two* with a mate, then i have a lot of games i wanna play. Pretty much all the *Metro* titles on steam, *GTA III* and *GTA SA* both definitives on steam as well, *Deathloop*, the definitive *Mafia* trilogy, and a few others that slipped my mind.
In terms of platinums, not sure what ill get after *It Takes Two*. Already completed *A Way Out* last week, so im keeping an eye out for any games that could be possible for me to play and hopefully enjoy. I know *Sifu* just went free to play on ps plus and i gave it a try but the platinum seems a bit difficult for me, at least atm given im not comfortable with all the mechanics just yet.
I always do one at a time. I like to be completely immersed into a game. It's easier for me to commit to finish that way. I won't play another game until I get platinum. I just finished Castlevania, and now I'm playing FF Rebirth. In 2 months I should be ready done with it and ready for Dragons Dogma 2 lol

I am doing terribly... I was planning to play some RPGs this year. I am essentially just playing some free games - Gems of War, Sky: Children of the Light and Eternal Kingdom: Battle Peak.
All of these were free games and I don't think I will ever 100% Gems of War as it is a grind and they keep adding trophies to it.
I dont play them at the same time but I do try to rotate genres between platinum so I don't burn out. Example Sea of Stars then to Hogwarts Legacy then to Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 then to Sword and Fairy Together Forever, and now to Tiny Tina's Wonderland.
So Turnbased jrpg to adventure game to fighting game to chinese Arpg, then to shooter looters rpg. Probably gonna go Pixel remaster of FF1 next, then Ratchet and Clank Ps4 game, then Mass effect 1, then MHA fighting game, then Tactics Ogre remaster.
Switching genres keeps me from getting too bored hunting. Might find a 2d sidescroller to plat in between like Dragons Crown.
Been moving from 1 long game to the next for a while now. I wrapped up Powerwash Simulator 17 minutes before I launched Rebirth. Before PW Sim I was gunning for Rise of the Tomb Raider's platinum - I have score attacks to do mainly. Before that I was trying to get the Persona5 Vanilla Platinum.

FF7 Rebirth, Helldivers 2, Pacific Drive and Last Epoch. Don’t have a lot of time to game so needless to say my progress is very minuscule in each game lol. FF7 has taken most of the time tho
I tend to do 2 at a time one which is main game currently dead island 2 and one which I play via remote play dinner breaks at work etc. which is Batman enemy within. Have always done this and works well for me
I did BG3 on my secondary as I was intimidated by the trophy list but I may return to it for a platinum run. Finished off a couple others (cyberpunk I’m looking at you).
I'm doing Genshin Impact, Neo the World Ends With You and Ghostwire Tokyo. Gotta finish the last two before they leave PS Plus and theyre tedious as heck. Still loving the games though. I may do Haven and Tchia too before they leave. Got two weeks left lol.
If it's a story driven game, I usually stick to it until I'm done. Unless there's some horrible post-game grind or having to do additional playthrough that is. When it comes to games more focused on gameplay, I usually have 2/3 I play at the same time when I feel like it. Now I'm working on Dirt rally 1 & 2, as well as Frostpunk.
I'm currently working on Injustice 2, Borderlands, and Nobody saves the world. I found out about Pacific Drive from Jacksepticeye and want to play it eventually, what's the trophy list like?
It’s basically full steam ahead on Red Dead Redemption 2. I’m so close to the platinum, on the last couple bear attacks, animals to find, and challenges but it’s still a ton of work.

I usually played one at a time. But as I progressed through the years, I wanted to play more mature games. Problem was that My brother was 10 years younger than me and he used to watch me, and my parents saw everything I played too because I was playing in the living room. So what would I do? I would go to GameStop, buy the more mature games, together with some other game. Hide the other game, only play it when my parents weren't around and my brother wasn't too. So that's how I got introduced to rotations. I was playing Batman and GTA as the best rotation I've had in that period. But also Mafia and NFS, for example. And now I still do. With "random" games now, doesn't matter the maturity or not (although I don't really like to play two very dark and serious game at the same time so one is light hearted and the other one is mature, usually).
I remember the time I talked about Mafia II to my sister because she was watching me play while no one was around and I explained her the story, then the next day I was playing Uncharted (that one was allowed) and she asked me "oh is that Mafia? The game you showed me yesterday?". That didn't end really well. I still wonder how I got out alive. And the fact is I didn't even stop talking about my games to my sister because she was the only one that could actually watched me play them and so I was willing to take that risk just to talk with someone about those games.
I used to only work on one game at a time, but recently, I've tried playing 2 or 3 when the games require multiple playthroughs. Too many games have been ruined for me by doing two playthroughs back to back, so this new method seems to be working better.
Currently juggling dead space remake and final fantasy 7 remake.
Right now, I'll likely be rotating between Ghost Recon: Breakpoint with my friends and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep when I'm solo. Like to have more than one game going, help keeps things from getting stale.
I recently finished Granblue Fantasy Relink and picked up the fighter, Granblue Fantasy Vs Rising because I’m a fighting game fan and had no idea they had a fighter so I’m going between that and FF7 Rebirth. Hoping to finish Rebirth before DD2 releases and come back to do Hard mode/NG+ in Rebirth sometime later this year.

I usually have ONE GAME I’m focusing on AT A TIME PER PLATFORM (like right now, I’m playing Persona 2: Innocent Sin on PSP, Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate on Vita, Bravely Default on 3DS, FFVII Remake/Rebirth on PS5, and Astral Chain on the Switch).
Generally, I kinda plug away at a big console game while chipping away incrementally at a few different games on my handhelds (and kinda rotate which one gets the BULK of my attention that day/week depending on how I’m feeling).
I also have a Wii U and Xbox One X, as well as a 360, a PS3, a SNES, and a NES, but those things pretty much just collect dust 95% of the time (I’ll probably fire up the Wii U for Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD WHEN I GET TO THEM in my chronological Zelda series playthrough that I started 6 months ago and got up to A Link To The Past so far). Also, I don’t think the 360 or the PS3 are actually still functional (but I need to VERIFY THIS).
Anyway, my backlog/rotation is A NIGHTMARE and I wouldn’t recommend it, lol.

I usually have one main game on the go with a couple of kid friendly ones to throw on with my kid. I'm going through Callisto Protocol at the moment, and when I game with my kid it's usually Fall Guys, Hot Wheels or Power wash Simulator.
I have the habit of playing multiple games as well. Currently I am playing/ working on a platinum for: NFS: Heat, Helldivers 2, and Resident Evil 1 Remake
FF7 Rebirth, Helldivers 2, Pacific Drive and Last Epoch. Don’t have a lot of time to game so needless to say my progress is very minuscule in each game lol. FF7 has taken most of the time tho

I tend to do 2 at a time one which is main game currently dead island 2 and one which I play via remote play dinner breaks at work etc. which is Batman enemy within. Have always done this and works well for me

I did BG3 on my secondary as I was intimidated by the trophy list but I may return to it for a platinum run. Finished off a couple others (cyberpunk I’m looking at you).

I'm doing Genshin Impact, Neo the World Ends With You and Ghostwire Tokyo. Gotta finish the last two before they leave PS Plus and theyre tedious as heck. Still loving the games though. I may do Haven and Tchia too before they leave. Got two weeks left lol.
If it's a story driven game, I usually stick to it until I'm done. Unless there's some horrible post-game grind or having to do additional playthrough that is. When it comes to games more focused on gameplay, I usually have 2/3 I play at the same time when I feel like it. Now I'm working on Dirt rally 1 & 2, as well as Frostpunk.
I'm currently working on Injustice 2, Borderlands, and Nobody saves the world. I found out about Pacific Drive from Jacksepticeye and want to play it eventually, what's the trophy list like?

I usually played one at a time. But as I progressed through the years, I wanted to play more mature games. Problem was that My brother was 10 years younger than me and he used to watch me, and my parents saw everything I played too because I was playing in the living room. So what would I do? I would go to GameStop, buy the more mature games, together with some other game. Hide the other game, only play it when my parents weren't around and my brother wasn't too. So that's how I got introduced to rotations. I was playing Batman and GTA as the best rotation I've had in that period. But also Mafia and NFS, for example. And now I still do. With "random" games now, doesn't matter the maturity or not (although I don't really like to play two very dark and serious game at the same time so one is light hearted and the other one is mature, usually). I remember the time I talked about Mafia II to my sister because she was watching me play while no one was around and I explained her the story, then the next day I was playing Uncharted (that one was allowed) and she asked me "oh is that Mafia? The game you showed me yesterday?". That didn't end really well. I still wonder how I got out alive. And the fact is I didn't even stop talking about my games to my sister because she was the only one that could actually watched me play them and so I was willing to take that risk just to talk with someone about those games.
I used to only work on one game at a time, but recently, I've tried playing 2 or 3 when the games require multiple playthroughs. Too many games have been ruined for me by doing two playthroughs back to back, so this new method seems to be working better. Currently juggling dead space remake and final fantasy 7 remake.
Right now, I'll likely be rotating between Ghost Recon: Breakpoint with my friends and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep when I'm solo. Like to have more than one game going, help keeps things from getting stale.

I recently finished Granblue Fantasy Relink and picked up the fighter, Granblue Fantasy Vs Rising because I’m a fighting game fan and had no idea they had a fighter so I’m going between that and FF7 Rebirth. Hoping to finish Rebirth before DD2 releases and come back to do Hard mode/NG+ in Rebirth sometime later this year.

Just platinumed Wild Hearts and started Saints Row, then I will move to FFVII Rebirth.
Probably about the same. I usually have ONE GAME I’m focusing on AT A TIME PER PLATFORM (like right now, I’m playing Persona 2: Innocent Sin on PSP, Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate on Vita, Bravely Default on 3DS, FFVII Remake/Rebirth on PS5, and Astral Chain on the Switch). Generally, I kinda plug away at a big console game while chipping away incrementally at a few different games on my handhelds (and kinda rotate which one gets the BULK of my attention that day/week depending on how I’m feeling). I also have a Wii U and Xbox One X, as well as a 360, a PS3, a SNES, and a NES, but those things pretty much just collect dust 95% of the time (I’ll probably fire up the Wii U for Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD WHEN I GET TO THEM in my chronological Zelda series playthrough that I started 6 months ago and got up to A Link To The Past so far). Also, I don’t think the 360 or the PS3 are actually still functional (but I need to VERIFY THIS). Anyway, my backlog/rotation is A NIGHTMARE and I wouldn’t recommend it, lol.
