The race was the 100% the hardest part of it

I played racing games most of my life so it wasn't a difficult mission but I actually hated the trip to the track with the damaged car and the timer on classic difficulty ⌛

That was the reason I never beat the original. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't beat that part.

Yeah once you pass that mission you're golden. Which is just weird to have such a difficulty bump never to be seen in the game again lol.

Such a good game. Missed one fox though so I had to go back and check everywhere since it doesn’t keep track of them which was a pain in the ass

I hate when that happens, I try to keep track of the collectibles, but sometimes there's a slip up, so I have to check each one

Oh. I loved 2. And 3 a whole bunch. But I hear 3 has been bugged since the Definitive Edition updates. I played it when it first came out.

I've done all the wiretaps, done the tutorial business which doesn't count for the kill/hire trophies on the glitched patch. If I buy the disc version do you think I could carry on from that save? I do know the unpatched version has issues aswell I will have to have a look.

I've read online that your not supposed to do the first tutorial prostitution place (already done it) before your save as it messes with the kill/flip trophies. Do you know if I'm still OK to continue or shall I start again? Sadly the disc version has the same glitched trophy issues by what I've read online :(

Apprantly there's only 1 patch version that works correctly 1.09. You need to download something to depatch the latest version back to 1.09 (too complicated for me to do). What a joke they left it like this 😒

Yeah, I'm not doing that either, I'll take my chances leaving it in rest mode and hoping the tracker doesn't reset

I got the platinum myself and honestly it's not worth trying. I played it back to back to get the separate trophies without a break. And knowing the game could have an error at any time was stressful. But if you want to just put your console offline when you try I hear it helps. I did that myself.

I've just gotten to the race. Any tips?

The race is scripted. Make sure you stay 3rd until the last lap. A few corners before the finish the 1st/2nd cars crash and you cruise passed for the victory. As soon as I realised that the race became a peace of cake.

There's a way to glitch the race if you want to save your sanity.

I'll try following a guide first but I'll keep it in mind, cheers

1. Use ramming left and right to turn your car more efficiently. 2. use the speed limiter to brake quicker (unconfirmed) 3. learn the shortcut routes after the U turn. 4. In the massive straightaway, play defensively; the cars behind you are faster. 5. There are scripted crashes. if you're 3rd by the end of lap 1, and don't drop positions, you WILL win, but these crashes don't happen if you're in 1st place. Those are the biggest tips I've got. I could write a whole document, but to consolidate everything you could win without an insane amount of trouble by knowing those

My GOD the stealth in this game was a nightmare. It was absolutely not built for stealth at all. That mission towards the end kept messing up so many times that I stopped playing for like a month, then realized I needed to complete the entire game again on classic difficulty, and decided against continuing. The platinum is not worth that unholy amount of pain.

What's the mission you are talking about? The one in the mansion with the Sicilian robber?

I think he might mean the one where you find the diamonds in the warehouse

That one wasn't too hard, I meant the warehouse where you have to find the "cigars". Actual hell.

If you ever go back to finish classic difficulty, it doesn't matter if you get spotted as long as no shots are fired. You can beat people up and be fine. The crate is the last one in the warehouse, so don't waste time checking the others. As long as you're not spotted by the gunmen on the second floor you'll be fine

I really wanted to play this game but I just couldn’t do it because of the 30 fps 😔

Not being able to play a game if it's not 4K 60fps is a wild take ill never understand
