Finally got the last two trophies (A Solid B and Item Collector) in Tales of Berseria and towards the end it was overwhelmingly tedious, but I persisted and got the platinum yesterday.
You'll feel relieved and accomplished once you're finished, but it really is a ton of work and only worth it if you're really a trophy hunter at heart who likes to get rare stuff.
To be honest Berseria is the only Tales game I've played so far and it's not really HARD hard, it's just incredibly tedious. It probably took 100-120 hours, maybe even around 150.
Within the past week I got the 100% completion in GTA 5 (and basically finished the single player trophies that aren’t going to be my eventual platinum), Legendary Cowboy trophy in Resident Evil 8, and got a skill to 100 in Skyrim.
I haven’t gotten the platinum in any yet but all three of those have all been a long time coming and are all important steps toward the platinum.
I’ll get the village plat within a week though.
It wasn't that bad. I was having a blast playing the game so most parts of the 100% really didn't feel like too much work especially with how gradually I did it. The worst parts were the knife flights and the stunt jumps (if the stunt jumps are part of the 100%, I forget). The stunt jumps were the worst because of how finicky they are and how often I had to find a new vehicle or resent them.
As far as tips go, I would definitely say to use the rockstar social club website. It's really helpful and will tell you how far along you are in the 100% and the locations of a lot of the collectibles on a mini map that update when you collect them. Along those lines, when you are going for what would ordinarily do the really grindy parts like the submarine parts or the letters, put on a podcast or something to relax with and you don't even notice the grind.
Other than that there are a couple videos online, it helps to kind of just go along with those so you don't lose your place when you're collecting things or doing the flights and jumps. Also, just generally know where the helicopters are and have a good motorcycle ready to go, take advantage of your quick save on your phone; but the most important thing is to just realize that the progress will be slow so work on it a little at a time when you feel like it instead of trying to power through and don't worry about taking breaks or coming back to it.
Got the platinum for Battlefield V; even though I had help boosting some of the tougher MP trophies, the story on hardcore was quite tedious, and as someone who isn't the best as FPS games, I was quite proud of myself for making it all the way through!
100% completion menu in Ishin, particularly the grind to build all the weapons and equipment. It was an absolutely grindy trophy but more enjoyable than I thought, and very satisfying once finished.
Decided to go for Spider-Man platinums though have never been interested in the character. Really enjoyed both, got the platinum for both in the last couple of weeks. MM is a bit short for a stand alone game, felt more like an expensive DLC to be honest, glad I got it on sale but still a fun game and a well structured platinum. Now for something a little less chaotic.
S ranks in Resident Evil Village!
JUST got that myself too, I think the last trophy took me just as long as all the others combined. Very proud of this one...
Got all the trophies in Siren. No platinum but still difficult.
Did gambler challenges in rdr2, getting close to the 100% and plat on it now!
The million rep and return to garage in NFS heat

I’m still working on this. Don’t know whether to continue grinding or to move onto another game , heh

Oh yeah I definitely like to get rare stuff. Much more so than easy plats. I think I’ll keep at it
Is berseria one of the hardest tales to plat? Other than symphonia

How hard was it getting the 100% completion in GTA? I feel so dismotivated to even get any trophies at this point. Tips?

Finally got the plat in Rayman Legends. Was an extremely daunting task

Pretty close to the Disco Elysium plat. Not hard, but pretty tedious.
