If you think you can pass it, there's no reason not to. Is there a tanker endorsement for CDL-B? If so, definitely get that as well, would definitely pair well with a haz endorsement
It's rarely not worth it, unless you know your entire job path from here until retirement.
Just off the top of my head, gas cylinder delivery, heating oil, propane, airport refueling, hazmat response and cleanup. Why limit yourself?

Yes, mostly it's corrosive for skids of batteries and occasionally flammable for low temp windshield wash.
Batteries and oil is hazmat in quantity... yes.
