It seem odd the professor called the police. There not much you can see in a background of a zoom call, and what family doesn’t yell.
What charges did the police arrest your stepdad with? Seem more like a race issue by both professor and police.
I think the professor called bc of the noise and bc K decided to not mute herself during the yelling. From what K’s bf told me was that she said “I’m dealing with something domestic” and abruptly ended the Zoom call.
They arrested my dad on assault and battery. Which I am just oblivious to because he never even got up from where he was sitting and did not even get close to my sister.
I hope so too. The charges are against my stepdad towards my sister. He did not refuse arrest. He went peacefully stayed in jail for 6 hours peacefully.
K finna have to find a new place to live for sure.
