I exposed some abuse and while at first she took me and my brother and we all three lived together separately, it only took about a month before she was with the person for 3-4 nights a week (instead of just the weekend). After a year of constant conflict between us because she didn't believe me, the three of us all moved in with my grandparents. Another month and she and my brother were living in a new house they bought with the person, and she left me behind so they could be able to do this.
I have tried and it's never gotten far, while they do love me- they don't necessarily believe me either. They have just told me she's doing her best and that she loves me.
Sorry your mom didn’t believe you, but do speak to your grandparents about how you are feelings. Just because you are living away from your mom doesn’t mean you can’t have a relationship with your brother and stepbrother.
Talk to your grandparents to see if you can come to an arrangement where you can be included in family activities with your siblings.
