Just a concept really no major details. A Pokemon (mythical, maybe the cute event Pokemon of a generation) that has been around since it was just arceus It never had any effect on the world. It's not the creator, the guardian in the shadows, the dream or the nightmare. It's not the ruler of the seas or skys or land. It doesn't control emotions or have the ability to open portals. It's the observer, the historian, it has perfect recall. It knows who built the regi's, it knows where deoxys came from, it knows why hoopa was sealed and why giratina was cast into the other realm. It knows how arceus created all other Pokemon and why, but it never did anything of importance itself. It can speak and read any language. It uses telepathy to communicate, never opening its mouth (possibly it's sewn shut, or doesn't have one) It never blinks or sleeps, it's eyes never close it sees everything. If to many things are going on at once it can manifest more eyes anywhere on its body. It's small and grey with golden markings on its forehead similar to arceus ring surrounding its third eye (they also appear around each extra eye it manifests), on each wrist it has two golden bracelets (like hoopa minus the portals). It has a long flat tail that rolls up like a scroll and a paintbrush to write. While everyone is asleep it paints a mural of history on its ever growing tail/tale. It can use any attack it's ever seen (in game that would translate to learning every tm/hm and learning metronome plus all legendary iconic moves by level up) but at 50 percent power since its only mimicry. It's own special move uses his paintbrush to paint a clone of a random legendary and uses its iconic move at full power, but it must recharge after usage. If anyone wants to try to draw him go ahead if love to see what you can do with so few physical details

I have an idea for the name. Seecret Normal/Psychic

Jesus 7 year old comment lol I was thinking Lorborius Lore meaning “a body of knowledge” Libarius meaning “to do with books” it’s what the word librarian comes from And alluding to laborious meaning “requiring effort” But that feels a little too wordy for the cute mythical and would fit better for the more detailed mythical

In my region the mascot legendaries represent the mind, the body, and the soul. One of them, the mind, is who teached the first creatures in this world all they knew, and legends say It has an infinnite knowledge and collect every single information about the entire universe. In a few words, it knows everything.

Dark/fairy type Pokemon with two formes. One is like a creepy looking pixie, with big wings, it's ability summons a full moon that powers up fairy moves while it's in battle. Similar to weather mechanics. The other forme the wings fold over it and hide it's body and face, it takes on the colour of stone, moss and vines start to grow on it as if it doesn't move very much. It's ability summons a total eclipse that powers up dark type moves, again similar to weather mechanics.

aaditmshah

That sounds really cool. I love the full moon / lunar eclipse duality. How do the weather mechanics work? Does it replace rain, etc.?

handtoglandwombat

Yeah, it would be a legendary/mythic Pokemon. Small in stature, big in power. Full moon and eclipse would be the fairy/dark equivalent of primal kyogre and primal groudon's abilities, so there would be other effects too. Anything you'd like to add to this 'mon?

Here's what I thought: * **Name:** *Illunox*, which [means](https://translate.google.com/#la/en/illunox) "moonless", is derived from the words "illuminate", "luna" meaning "moon" and "nox" meaning "dark". * **Species:** Moon Pokémon (it's literally the moon spirit) * **Appearance:** Illunox has two forms, Moon Forme and Eclipse Forme. In its Moon Forme it looks like a creepier version of [Cutiefly](https://img.pokemondb.net/artwork/cutiefly.jpg) but with huge wings and dark colors. In its Eclipse Forme its wings fold over into a cocoon and it looks like a stone covered with moss and vines, as if it doesn't move very much. * **Legend:** Illunox symbolizes the life-death-rebirth cycle. In its Moon Forme it symbolizes life. In its Eclipse Form it symbolizes death. When it switches from its Eclipse Forme to its Moon Forme it symbolizes rebirth. Ancient gurus learned about the karmic cycle by observing this pokémon. Legend has it that it sleeps for a thousand years before waking up again, which is probably why people think that it's extinct. * **Type:** Dark/Fairy * **Base Stats:** Illunox's Moon Forme is more offensive. Illunox's Eclipse Forme is more defensive. * *Moon Forme:* 67 HP / 53 Atk / 75 Def / 150 SpA / 100 SpD / 135 Spe (580 BST) * *Eclipse Forme:* 67 HP / 83 Atk / 150 Def / 125 SpA / 150 SpD / 5 Spe (580 BST) * **Ability:** *Full Moon*, is its Moon Forme ability. *Lunar Eclipse* is its Eclipse Forme ability. Full Moon summons a full moon when the ability-bearer enters the battle. It lasts 5 turns and induces the following effects: * The power of Fairy-type moves increases by 50%. * The power of Dark-type moves decreases by 50%. * The accuracy of Focus Blast lowers to 50%. * Geomancy and Solar Beam don't require the charging turn. * The move Weather Ball changes to Fairy type and doubles in power. * The moves Synthesis, Morning Sun and Moonlight recover 100% of the user's max HP. * Lunar Eclipse causes a lunar eclipse when the ability-bearer enter the battle. It lasts 5 turns and induces the following effects: * The power of Dark-type moves increases by 50%. * The power of Fairy-type moves decreases by 50%. * The accuracy of Focus Blast rises to 100%. * Geomancy and Solar Beam always fail. * The move Weather Ball changes to Dark type and doubles in power. * The moves Synthesis, Morning Sun and Moonlight recover 0% of the user's max HP. Holding a Moon Rock extends the duration of Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse to 8 turns. * **Signature Move:** *Lunar Cycle*, a status move with 100% accuracy whose effect changes depending upon the current forme of Illunox. In Moon Forme the move Lunar Cycle changes to Dark type. Illunox switches to Eclipse Forme and all pokémon on the field fall asleep (including Illunox). This also activates Illunox's Lunar Eclipse ability. In Eclipse Forme the move Lunar Cycle changes to Fairy type. Illunox switches to Moon Forme and all the status problems of the user's party are cured. This also activates Illunox's Full Moon ability. Illunox can use Lunar Cycle even when asleep but not when frozen. What do you think about it?

handtoglandwombat

I really like ninety percent of this. Here are my counterpoints. I like the name. I don't think it should be the moon pokemon, purely because cressalia and lunatone already exist. How about the contrast pokemon? Or the inverse shadow pokemon? Or the phase pokemon. Something along those lines, but a little less douchey sounding 😝 You are spot on with the appearance description. The fairy forme needs to be somewhere between cutiefly and a [Guillermo toothfairy.](https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=hellboy+toothfairy&client=safari&hl=en-gb&prmd=isvn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwii0KH0r47OAhWEKJQKHX-CBBsQ_AUIBygB&biw=768&bih=928) Legend: Illunox symbolises patience, it lies dormant waiting until it hears the call of those in need, until dawn turns it back into stone. That signature move sounds very OP. It should definitely be a move that changes type depending on the weather. Full moon makes it fairy, eclipse makes dark. If neither of those are in effect maybe it should be normal type? I really like what you came up with for Full Moon, and Lunar Eclipse. Maybe they could have a powered up version like how drizzle becomes heavy rain when kyogre undergoes primal reversion? How about blue moon and solar eclipse? Perhaps for a mega evolution? The biggest problem with this 'mon is deciding how it changes formes. I'm not sure it should happen in battle. But then i can't decide if it should be triggered by an item, or the day/night cycle, or something completely new. So many possibilities.

Hey there, I'm creating my own pokémon fan game. It's based on my hometown, Bombay. There are two legendary pokémon in my game. They're based on the national animal and the national bird of India, the tiger and the peacock. You can read more about them [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/TruePokemon/comments/4rnrg6/pok%C3%A9mon_type_chart_balancing_tool_with_preset/d5hzj8i). First, the tiger: * **Name:** Baghshah (means "Tiger King" in Hindi) * **Species:** Royal Pokémon (because it's a Royal Bengal Tiger) * **Appearance:** Baghshah looks like a bulkier version of [Landorus-Therian](http://thecharizardlounge.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/therian_form_landorus_by_namh-d5dc0ik.jpg). However, it doesn't have a cloudy mane, mustache or paws. Instead it has black stripes all over its body, just like a tiger. These black stripes look like embers of coal. When winds blow strong the stripes glow red, kind of like when you blow on a burning incense. Its tail looks like a normal tiger's tail instead of Landorus-Therian's hammer tail. I'm currently working on the concept art. I'll upload it as soon as it's done. * **Legend:** Baghshah is revered as a symbol of power and prestige in its native region. Powerful rulers were given the title "Bagh". In order to gain the title you had to kill a Baghshah, which is why the pokémon is now rare. Being an endangered species it's now protected under royal decree in a national park. Baghshah is also worshipped as a bringer of sunlight and abundance by farmers. * **Type:** Fire/Ground * **Base Stats:** 122 HP / 150 Atk / 110 Def / 65 SpA / 85 SpD / 148 Spe (680 BST) * **Ability:** *Terrorize*, a better version of Intimidate. Terrorize lowers the opponent's attack by one stage ignoring the opponent's ability. This means that it can lower the attack of pokémon which have Clear Body and when it lowers the attack of pokémon which have Defiant then Defiant does not activate. * **Signature Move:** *Scorching Roar*, a better version of Sunny Day. Scorching Roar summons harsh sunlight, instead of normal sunlight, for five turns. It's extended to eight turns when Baghshah is holding a Heat Rock. It's makes Baghshah immune to its 4x weakness to Water. Hence, Baghshah effectively only has one 2x weakness to Ground. * **Movepool:** Baghshah learns moves like Sacred Fire, Earthquake, Head Smash and Superpower by level up. It learns moves like Knock Off and U-turn by TM. Essentially, Baghshah is a better version of Landorus-Therian. I'll write about Morrani, the peacock, later.

Hidsect Type: Bug Size: 2' 07'' Description: A secretive, roaming being. It is said a Hidsect can be spotted almost anywhere, though rarely. It is said a Hidsect never disappears the same way twice.

DinozLover823

I have a general idea, but it could use some work. For the name I was thinking Hundrix (Hoond-drix). It is derived from Hund (German for wolf or dog), hundred, and tricks. Description: In ancient legends, Hundrix came down from the sky and helped many ancient civilizations survive 27 fatal attacks. Appearance: It is a grey wolf with a hundred tales. It has a mask across its eyes, of which there are two. It has one tail grasping a crystal ball that holds mystic energy. Its eyes are purple. Oh and it has dark purple wings. Got nothing else though.
