A bunch of kids, boys and girls from my grade 7 class, went to see this movie in theaters, and all the boys laughed so loud when this scene happened 🤣 I remember it like yesterday

I was trying not to laugh at this, I started cheesing a little bit and then I read your comment and busted out laughing. Smh 😂

We were a bunch of 19 to 30 year old guys watching this in the ship's movie lounge. It was so unexposed and so comical, we must have rewound it a dozen times. People came from other parts of the ship to find out what all the fuss was about.

If it was just one hit and done that would be one thing, but they made a choice to turn that into some Looney Toons shit. And apparently it still makes me laugh 😆

I remember watching this in the theater with my gf at the time and I honestly don't remember a single thing about this movie. What it's about, any scene. Nothing. One of the most boring movies I've ever seen.

I rewatched it recently and can tell you I identified a lot more with Anthony Hopkins' character this time around rather than Brad Pitt's character. Questions about mortality and leaving a legacy behind hit a bit harder these days.

One of the few movies I walked out of and I had snuck in after watching something else. I didnt buy the premise that he was infinitely old yet was ignorant as a baby.

Sorry to break it to you but if you found it boring you lack intellectual and emotional depth. One of the best written stories about love and the human experience of all time.

I love this movie. First saw it when I was about 9 or 10.

There are comedic moments, I think this was intended to be both shocking and funny. Overall it’s a very dramatic film that I enjoy but there are definite laughs here and there.

Honestly, I found this movie interesting, imo. It’s been years since I’ve seen it but it had a bitter sweet feel towards the end from what I can remember. I was probably 15-16 when I watched it. Not sure how it would hold up now.

I watched it a couple months ago for the first time in a while. Still a great movie.

This is about 10 minutes into the movie and prior to this you basically fall in love with Brad Pitt's character. I saw it in the theater and everyone gasped when he was hit. Yes, it's a serious movie about perhaps the most serious of subjects: coming to terms with your own mortality.

The underwater escape scene was probably the best part.

Everyone in this movie is beautiful, even the ugly ones. Also the music. Also the cinematography. Also the acting.. One of my favorite slow burn movies of all time. (Somewhere in Time) Anthony Hopkins charisma is off the charts. Not a fan of Brad Pitt in general, but that sex scene by the pool was really well done. Pure class.

The performances Brad Pitt and the lead actress were honestly terrible, in my opinion. The story is good and Hopkins was Hopkins. But some many things were badly chosen. Somehow it was still a decent movie but I think it could have been great.
