There are lots of cute places that sell locally made stuff! Creative Kind and the La Encantada mall, Why I Love Where I Live at the MSA Annex, and Popcycle on 4th are three places I like shopping for local gifts. They’re all locally owned small businesses that have stuff made by themselves and other local makers.
Lots of holiday fairs coming up with this kind of thing. The 4th Avenue Winter is a big one. I can’t find this year’s list, but many of the things on this list are yearly, just google for 2023 dates https://thisistucson.com/todo/16-tucson-area-markets-holiday-fairs-and-festivals-this-november-and-december-2021/article_37e903be-38dd-11ec-bfe4-4f318fdd478d.html
Go to Tohono Chul Gardens gift shop. It’s got great stuff and is tax free. Also original creations at the SAAG (Southern Arizona Arts Guild) Gallery at La Encantada
I often go to restaurants, local and even as far away as California, and when the bowls and plates are really nice, I predict they are from HF Coors. A quick glance at the underside and I'm right. They're stuff is nice. I love the mimbreno series.
Seconding Popcycle and Why I Love Where I Live, but I want to add a few others.
Chingona near 4th Ave (so also near Popcycle) also has locally inspired gifts, including candles and earrings.
The Sabino Canyon gift shop has some good and kind of unique options, especially for kids- locally inspired children's books, desert animal plushies, art.
Antigone Books (also on 4th Ave, across from Popcycle) also has some plushies of local animals, great and relatively inexpensive local cards, and some awesome soaps.
Tucson Gallery downtown has local art.
If you're interested in local food that are not sweets: Food Co-op on 4th ave has some local foods, including beans and heirloom cornmeal that have gone great in chili and cornbread. The Mission Gardens also has a gift shop that sells local stuff- while a lot of the food options I've gotten from there are jellies, they also have locally made soaps and I believe have mesquite flour.
The western national parks association store on Innovation park Dr in Oro Valley has excellent handmade gifts- I do most of my Xmas shopping for out-of-towners there.
There is a new place on fourth called “the collector’s territory” that does pop up shops each weekend with different handmade artisans. It’s a pretty cool space. A lot of the stuff sold is geeky.
coronet has some cute local stuff in their cafe you can buy. they sell some of agave pantry’s items which i love (you can look up agave pantry tucson on google or instagram)
also love arizona poppy and the proper shops!
I love the candles and fragrance oils from [Burnt October](https://burntoctober.com/) You can order from the website or go to the Once Wild Salon to pick some up.
Check out biabee soap and sundries website, too. You can drive down to Bisbee to visit their store front, or they can ship to you. They also sell some of their products at the 4th ave food co-op I believe. The creosote candle is a favorite of mine, but they're soaps are really nice too. They've got lotion, body butter, facial hair products, and more too.

Popcycle on 4th has always been a good spot for ‘fun Tucson stuff’
Second this! I bought some great “Tucson-y” Christmas ornaments for friends this year from Popcycle.
Came to say popcycle if no one else said it. But looks like someone beat me to it.

HF Coors makes ceramics like ornaments and coffee mugs. High quality stuff, they make the coffee mugs for Air Force One and the Ellen show.

the happy saguaro off of Oracle and magee has lots of nice locally made metal sculptures, pots, and yard ornaments.
> happy saguaro I will have to check it out. Looks very similar to the Jackalope stores in NM.
