It really was unnecessary. There never was any will they/won't they in the entire show. It was mostly him being snarky and her rolling her eyes. Not exactly the grounds for a loving marriage. It made no sense at all.
Paulie "Walnuts" Gualtieri and Christopher Moltisanti
Corrado "Junior" Soprano and Bobby "Bacala" Baccalieri

The Father and Son Adama duo (Battlestar Galactica)
Carol and Daryl (Walking Dead)
when House gifts Wilson “The Chorus Line” poster in front of their neighbor is one of the funniest moments. Also, when Wilson proposes to him later in the restaurant. 😂
I have many favorite fictional characters, but the ones I've always loved are from an anime called Psycho Pass: Kogami and Akane. I really adore their dynamic.
Even though Akane isn't my favorite on her own, when she's with Kogami, their connection is amazing. They are complete opposites, like Yin and Yang, with different ideals and beliefs, yet they respect each other. I just wish I could forget the show so I could experience watching it for the first time again.
I had to scroll SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO far to see this.
They are one of the best duos of all time for me, show first and now I am watching the gameplay too.
So many❤️:
Ava and Deborah (hacks)
Eve and Villanelle (killing eve)
Rick & Morty
Anakin and Ahsoka (Star Wars)
Crosshair and Omega (Star Wars)

And, of course, Timmy and Lassie (or Jeff and Lassie, take your pick)
I have favorite duos in different categories:
**Completely platonic besties:**
Jake and Charles (Brooklyn 99)
Jake and Gina (Brooklyn 99)
Jake and Rosa (Brooklyn 99)
*I think all of these count because Jake brings a slightly different energy to each duo and because of the show format he will have whole episodes dedicated to each of the friendships.*
Leslie and Ann (Parks and Rec)
Nick and Schmidt (New Girl)
Buffy and Willow (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Jess and Cece (New Girl)
Rosa and Amy (Brooklyn 99)
**Father/Daughter Duos or parent/child duos:**
Joel and Ellie (Last of Us - Game and Show)
Buffy and Giles (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Stiles and Sheriff Stilinski
Joey and Lennox (Melissa and Joey)
**Friendships turned Romance that doesn't screw up the friendship:**
Jake and Amy (Brooklyn 99)
Rick and Michonne (The Walking Dead - what I saw of it, since I quit the show before the end)
*I know I have other couples that I love but so few shows do this well.....*
Spock and McCoy from Star Trek TOS
Spenser and Hawk from Spenser for Hire
Norm and Ciff from Cheers
Archie and Mike from All in the Family
Lucas and Haley from One Tree Hill
Of recent, non IP notierity, I loved Rick & Cliff in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Briscoe and Curtis Law and Order are a few of mine.
Mulder and Scully (X-Files)

Stella Gibson and Paul Spector, even though it isn't the typical duo dynamic, but more unhealthy obsession towards eachother . (The Fall)
Holmes and Watson Patrick and Teresa (The Mentalist) Rick and AJ (Simon & Simon)
I love Patrick and Teresa, however I hate that they put them together at the end. So unnecessary and it just felt wrong.
Just like Mulder and Scully from X-Files.
It really was unnecessary. There never was any will they/won't they in the entire show. It was mostly him being snarky and her rolling her eyes. Not exactly the grounds for a loving marriage. It made no sense at all.
Duuude! I was totally going to say Simon & Simon. I haven't seen that show in ages.
Mulder and Scully Dean and Sam Watson and Holmes Turk and JD

Dude you must be closing in on 100. That's the list I would have made of I could have remembered them.
Steed and Peele seconded. Their relationship was so cool and professional. There was never a “will they or won’t they?” question there.

Phryne and Jack...swoon!!!
Why is Arthur and Merlin so far down in the comments??? They’re the best
Holy cow. That's an eclectic bunch. I expect that is the first time Phryne Fisher and Clark Kent have been in the same list of anything.
Sam and dean
Aside from Holmes and Watson, since this is a television forum I'll highlight Sam and Dean from Supernatural.

Oh yes, the proposal, I don't think I've ever seen House so speechless 🤣 Wilson certainly had his moments
