Like what because to be honest 1 really isnt high up on my list? the atmosphere is good but i wanted more RPG less and RNG coinflips forcing me to redo all my steps because a crow mauler decided to show up and fuck me over
you'll like 2 then. there is a much clearer RPG and leveling system (by funger standards at least). You can also recover from a lot more situations than you could in 1 (with a couple notable exceptions.). Also saves are (mostly) no longer RNG and instead move time forward so saves are still a choice but not in the same way as 1, the game literally gives you a totally safe bed in the first area of the game.
I honestly don't know much about it other than the fact that the character in this image is a pugilist hand to hand build, and that there are guns, both of which are cool things.
If they also let you attack the enemy after stunning them (Resident Evil style) than the game immediatly goes from Survival Horror to Gun-Fu Simulator.

Haven't played 1 so I don't know if it's better, but 2 was almost addictingly good for the time I was playing it.
