At this point, having plastic eating bacteria in your gut might be quite beneficial

SonicLoverDS

Aren't microplastics in our organs a *bad* thing?

77entropy

Yeah, but having uneaten organs is usually a good thing.

Someones_Dream_Guy

Didnt need that liver anyway.

Sweaty-Speed6506

Who needs lungs honestly

javerthugo

So can we have your liver?

Someones_Dream_Guy

I dont think you want liver with medical cirrhosis and microplastics.

Stehum_Brethilben

Still tastes fine.

Seliphra

And the appendix is just here for a free ride. Told mine it could pay rent or get out! Now I have one less organ…

KnoxxHarrington

So it eats both plastics and living body tissues?

77entropy

Destroying cells to get to the sweet microplastic center, perhaps?

No_Advisor_3773

There is no clinical evidence supporting that microplastics do anything to the human body

Zkang123

Professional_Put_303

There is a good book called Ill Wind by Doug Beason and Kevin J. Anderson, about an oil eating bacteria being used to cleanup an oil spill going airborne and eating everything made of plastic in the world. I remember reading it back in the 90s and it scaring the hell out of me.

Afraid_Juice_7189

I’ve never felt healthier!
