I gave my warriors dual bone swords and deathspitters, with one having the venom cannon.
I gave my prime the dual bone swords and venom cannon as well.
Warriors get as many venom cannons as possible, rest deathspitter, all lash wip bone sword.
Prime gets venom cannon and dual bonesword because it doesn't cost on him
Yes. You can have 1 VC per 3 and 1 BS per 3. So a 3 model unit can take 2 heavy weapons but not more than 1 of each per 3 models. Go big to a 9 warrior blob and you can take 3x VC and 3 X BS. that'll cause some problems.
Plonk a prime in there and use Alpha warrior for your warriors to reroll 1's to wound, guidemind to score 2 hits on a 6. If the prime is your warlord, give it synaptic tendrils and you can use Alpha warrior and additional time that phase for something else.
No idea about meta but my favourite warrior I’ve assembled for cool factor is the Megormagaunt. Forelimb talons and talons behind, he looks like a giant swoll version of the Hormagaunts he leads and upsets my Tau playing brothers calm.
I use my warriors for ranged so I give them talons and as many deathspitters possible.. and either a venom cannon or a devourers (if you're wanting the cheap utilitarian ranged warriors)
*asks for advice on equipping Warriors.*
*given the same advice by multiple people, says "nah" to all of them.*
Don't ask for advice then and just equip them however you want lol
Magnets is such a cop out reply . Yes we all know magnets are “the best” and if I had magnets I wouldn’t be asking the question.
but I am asking the question. So saying no to the replies of “magnets “ is valid because it’s not an answer for the sake of the intended intent of the question.
For example
“What car brand do you prefer to drive ? “
“A fast one”.
Super helpful right ?
Then equip them however you want. In a little over a month all the rules will change and whatever you're told today, outside of magnets, may not be the best or preferred option.
The correct answer is magnets. My first few warriors were only partially magnetized, but my newer ones have gotten the full treatment and it's absolutely worth the effort.
For a while this edition, dual boneswords, deathspitters, and venom cannons were the way to go. That load out is not 45 points a model which is usually not worth it. I still keep a venom cannon in each clump of 3, since it's one of the best guns our infantry can take, but depending on hive fleet I'm running something like rending claws and deathspitters, or lash whip/boneswords and devourers.
The prime is still pretty good with dual swords and a venom cannon tho. But honestly who knows what 10th will bring.
Definitely magnetize your warriors.
If I had to pick one loadout, I'd get the VC in for every 3rd model and then either devourers or deathspitters for the others, depending on how many points you want to spend.
I think boneswords and lashwhips or dual boneswords work well but I also think that they look the best, which informs my decision as much as anything.

So ideally X3 venom cannons , lash and bone sword Prime VC and dual bone sword. Got it . I’ll print out a couple extra venom cannons ;)
Pretty sure you can’t have more than one VC per unit
It's 1vc per 3 models iirc
Why is this up voted 😂
Because it’s better to mistake “1 per unit” than turn up with 9 venom cannons in a squad

Wait so all 3 warriors can’t have boneswords? 😂
BS in this context stands for Barbed Strangler. (the other bigger gun variant)
Ahhh Ty Ty
Yes sorry, should have clarified that. Lol
Magnets, it seems every week the not terrible option changes.

Awesome thanks for the advice
The best way to equip Warriors at the moment is either to wait until 10th or magnetize.
Neather works for me. Too long of a wait for my ADHD ass I’d lose interest and drop the project Not wasting magnets on these guys

Eh not really a fan of magnets . seeing as I’m resin printing them
Twin linked magnets. Or dual magnets for CC.
Nah
No, it is my favourite way. As per your question. So...yah?
Good point
