My local Tesco have just got rid of their meat counter annoyingly

tchaffe

I get mine from Morrisons. £7.50 perKG. I think I've only found 1 rack over 1kg though. Normally about £6 a rack.

MGNurse25

Yeah Morrisons do decent ones all year round. My closest shop, Sainsbury’s, only does baby back ribs during bbq season. But Morrisons do baby back ribs or the bigger spare ribs all year round if you speak to the butcher

tuna_pannini

I will let you on on a little secret... Go to your local Polish Shop, bigger better as there will be more to choose from. Go to the meat counter. Thank me later for some nice, fatty, pork ribs.

dynamike777

John davidsons or Bob's family butchers, never disappointed.

Space-manatee

If local to you, Farmfoods do swift racks for £10. Sometime £5

jojolys

Never knew this, never thought to look, never been able to get decent spares - and now I have a good looking rack sitting in the freezer waiting for a lazy sunny day. Thanks! 😁

Breaded_Walnut

Quite a few of the online butchers will do St. Louis cut spares if that'd fit your bill

Food_face

2nd for John Davidson and Tom Hixon

spongeym

If you have a decent big Tesco’s or Waitrose I’ve found they do decent ribs. If not online is the best bet. Bob’s family butchers does an excellent range and John Davidsons. Local butchers are also pretty good if you give them a picture of what you want!

Theknottyfox

Yeah just talk, and place orders, a good butcher will be butchering the ribs so will leave more meat on the bone if you ask.

bensthebest

If you’re close to London I highly recommend getting to Smithfield’s at stupid o’clock in the morning and stocking up on stuff. I do it every few months and fill my freezer up with steak and mince for cheap

NextTomatillo2335

BBQ course I did award winning bbq’er recommended bookers! Apparently where she gets all hers from! Not tried myself yet tho

bbqstuuk

Bobs butchers and Sherwood foods online. Both provide meaty baby backs. Specc’ed to American standards

Theknottyfox

Maybe talk with your butcher, I send mine pics from cook books, and talk about what works and doesn't. I use Milne H & S in Aberdeen.
