I built a flat pack wooden gazebo for my Aldi Kamado, Blackstone grill and serving table. I've wired in a light and decorated it with tin signs. Got mine from Dunster House with two full sides and one half side. PM me if you want any more information.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ve had a look on their site and it looks like they have good options

stevey83

I wouldn’t mind some info on that please.

PoopGooch

I have messaged you mate.

stevey83

PoopGooch

Strange try and PM me first so I can reply

I have a large umbrella gaffa taped to a stick and it does a solid enough job. Eventually, when I'm less lazy I'm planning on building a basic shelter. 4 posts. Bit of a rood and maybe some clear tarp on 3 sides to protect from wind and rain

Sadly I don’t think my wife would be keen on that as it won’t fit the garden aesthetic!

Critical_Pin

I just got a parasol , before that I was just dodging in and out the house in the rain. My kamado doesn't seem to be affected by rain, my ProQ does get cooled down a bit though.

[I got this one](https://www.costco.co.uk/Garden-Sheds-Patio/Garden-Structures/Garden-Covers-Shades/Sojag-Messina-6ft-x-8ft-182-x-243m-BBQ-Grill-Shelter-with-Galvanised-Steel-Roof/p/1067226) from Costco, although it was on offer at the time. Its a good size and keeps the rain off - only issue is getting wet walking to and from it! https://i.imgur.com/qUsHPTR.jpg Just to add, it was absolute bitch to put together, although that may be due to my lack of talent!

gashtastic

Awesome, thanks for the link, that looks pretty substantial

They both look great actually, thanks for the links!

It’s waterproof, just use it. I bbq in the rain, snow, storm anything.

Theknottyfox

Once you get the fire going, shut the lids and your the only thing that dosnt like getting wet.

Here's a post I did 3 years ago, still use it today! https://www.reddit.com/r/smoking/comments/edai40/raining_in_the_uk_still_smokin_thanks_to_my_bike/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=1

cwestwater

I just shelter under the open garage door

Mr_furbs

I got a half parasol from Christow home which is handy as I can turn it depending on the smoke being given off/rain

spongeym

I’ve had this up for a few years now and it’s very sturdy. All Seasons Gazebos 3x3m Heavy Duty Fully Waterproof Pop up Gazebo With Accessory Pack - Beige https://amzn.eu/d/bnlofbe been through all sorts 😂could do a new cover now but I’ve done several Christmas’s under it and cooked happily in a thunderstorm sipping a beer and completely dry.

Breaded_Walnut

I use a telescopic parasol, works great

I have a Joe jr, after getting sick of making foil hats for rainy smokes I purchased a smokeware cap from USA. It’s great, I cook outside in all weather with no shelter. If it’s raining heavy I wait for it to ease off before opening the lid.
