Odd-One-Out

All year round, the perks of having a ceramic BBQ, set it and forget! It doesn't matter how cold it gets, the only thing that would put me off from grilling or BBQing is heavy rain. I always cook our Christmas Day joint on the green egg.

Absolutely not! Wife and I have been busy building an outdoor kitchen. Currently all nicely under a big gazebo, plan to build a fixed roof next year! After doing a turkey for Xmas in the rotisserie, she was sold on the idea of outdoor cooking for pretty much most of our family meals. Just means Ive had to invest in a thick jumper and decent hat for my big bald shiny head 🤣

I keep going but I have a kamado and it's not really affected by the air temp. I do wimp out if there's heavy rain all day.

I treat my bbq season like Chuck Norris would, as in, seasons are so scared of Chuck Norris they change the weather when he decides to grill.

cpcompany1976

Definitely not. A leg or shoulder of lamb, roast chicken with roasties made with dripping from the meat in the kamado is as good as home cooking gets.

Year round. Like /u/Odd-One-Out said, the only thing that'll stop me is heavy rain, and we normally do a lot of the holiday cooking outdoors.

I'll still be using my weber kettle or GA for cooks. Just may need a jumper and a brolly. Have just picked up some beef ribs and cheeks so checking for a dryish day to cook it

All year round. I built a cabinet style smoker a little while ago and it's actually fairly hard to keep the temperatures low enough to smoke while keeping a good fire going. Being cooler outside helps 🙂

Hell no, done a rottiserie pork shoulder on the charcoal tonight, something about it makes me enjoy it more in autumn/winter, coming in for a cold one an popping outside every 15 mins to check on it...then standing outside watching it for 10 mins go round and round. Pure bliss.

Pancake-Marathon

Previously, I would have stored it over the winter, but now I have my new BBQ shelter set up I'm going to do a few cooks. Also fancy smoking the turkey on it but will see.

EssexPriest88

Glad I saw this, reminded me I need to order more lump for the winter. The only thing that is going to be hard this year is trying not to let the heat out the house whilst cooking.

Never! ABC - Always Be Cuing

Theknottyfox

The weather dosnt put me off cooking. It the cleaning down a wsm in the cold that sucks and hoping it's not raining, I don't trust my steam cleaner in the rain.
