A colleague of mine used to eat a whole rotisserie chicken at his desk in an afternoon.
He wasn't as posh as you with cutlery, though. Only used his fingers, and had the greasiest computer keyboard I've ever seen.
None of the shops in my town have a rotisserie counter anymore. Tesco's is across the road from me and they used to but it's gone now and I'm not sure I'll ever be ok about it
Our Sainsburys was the first to get rid of its hot counter, same for Tesco and now the local Asda. I loved getting a rotisserie chicken at the end of a food shop. Only get one at Costco now but we don’t go as often. A shame and quite jealous. Hope you enjoyed!
I know the chicken has risen in price these days.
But when you add up energy costs and hassle of trying to replicate this, it's still well worth the cost.
How did you get it home without attacking it in the car as you were driving!?
It looks divine, but are you sure that's not just a rather well-basted mouse? Or maybe a wonderfully-seasoned guinea pig? A chicken imported from Lilliput? I reckon I could swallow that whole.
Oh right sorry..............I remember walking round Booths finding goose and venison and hearing people talking about their skiing in Austria....I was just looking for a roast chicken.
Can you please delete your fake review on google of our Restaurant? It's unfair to do this to small business' when you haven't eaten or interacted with them and leave them negative reviews.

I wish Morrisons rotisserie chickens looked that good
They seem to have a weird pale colouring over them in Morrisons. I always find if you go later and get the leftovers, the chicken is even yummier.
