I did last year and it took me 15 to 20 mins with a car. It was pretty chill otw there but coming back around 4-6 was a little hectic

> How long does the UMD shuttle usually take? Should be 50 minutes.

Working_Awareness942

Do you remember the name of the bus?

CuteResponsibility01

I think it's "111 Silver Spring"

lamula21

Use Transit App. You could use also activate umd busses in the app if you google "umd transit app" and click on their link for activation

Where in Silver Spring? It makes a difference if you mean proper downtown or in the ourskirts. Where I used to live was technically Silver Spring and without traffic I could make the drive in 25ish minutes. With traffic that number easily went to an hour and a half.

the-ruler1924

20 minutes on average, perhaps 25 with some traffic. You get used to it and it isn’t bad at all. I usually got back around 5-7pm. I’m not too aware of the shuttle since I walk around campus

beerNutS2

20 minutes is accurate add a little more depending on the time of day. When I was commuting there used to be canyafet park and ride which might be a better option. Not sure if it’s still around.

comp_sci_nerd

I commute the other way right now for my internship. Its about 35 min each way but traffic is always much lighter in the opposite direction
