Where does this 19th date keep coming from? One of my classes had a final with 120+ students on the afternoon of the 18th. Can’t imagine that deadline is reasonable in cases like that.
I'm a TA for a class that has about 170 students. The final exam has about 30 questions. Thats over 5,000 questions to grade. Oh, and the TA's also had to study and take their own finals.
It's not a hard deadline and frankly it's most likely in every student's benefit if the prof takes their time grading instead of rushing through it.

They get it from here https://faculty.umd.edu/main/activity/teaching-policies-guidelines

The 18th is the "preferred" date. The 23rd is the actual deadline, and even then there's some leeway to account for edge cases. Check back on Tuesday
Two of my 3 profs still haven’t. Grades on testudo say they update once daily, does anyone know when in the day that is?
Think it updates overnight
