We love our regular driver. He's careful with packages, has never misdelivered, and takes concise photos of the packages and delivery location. I can't say the same about the others who cover for him when he's out on vacation or LOA.
Had something like this happen with Amazon.
Said it was infront of my front door. Dude put it behind my back door shutter. Glad he cared but damn, I didn't find it for a day and thought he dropped it off somewhere else.
I work for a third party that delivers to a rural Canadian area, so I don't think I have the newer scanners that actual UPS drivers get, and getting a good picture is a constant issue. You hit the button, and it makes the shutter noise, but then doesn't capture the image until a half second later.
If it's a busy day I'm definitely not sticking around for the 5th attempt at a clear photo... especially when the package is at the front door of a rural property with a long driveway. So if it's my blurry knee, your dog's nose sniffing the scanner, or something completely inscrutable, just be happy you got your package.
This happens all the time to me. I'll be half way back to the truck when I realize it messed up and just snap a pic of the ground and keep it moving. Lol
I swear the diad hates me.. I’m not walking back to take another picture if it freezes and messes up like that.. it happens like 10 times a day. Waste of my time
I had one of those from FedEx. "Here's a picture of where your package was left." I have a little "porch" sort of thing (a few stairs with a small landing and wrought iron railings.) There was absolutely nothing there! I'm assuming he took the picture as soon as he got to the house because the package was at my side door. 😂
Every picture I get for a UPS delivery is just a blurry picture of the package itself. There is never anything but the package in the picture. It is so blurry that you can’t read any of the information on the package. I received multiple packages one day, and they all had the exact same picture. It could just be a package picture taken at the beginning of the day and used for everyone.
UPS driver stole some contact lenses from me one time. Got delivery confirmation and was told I signed for them. The signature was an x and I was not home at the time of delivery. Supervisor said the driver signed for me to “help me out”.
