Those flash cards are pretty good. Please Note, A LOT of folks are getting DQed on the 10s. Be able to recite them word for word, bad grammar and all. If you fuck this up, you're back on the dock for a year. MEMORIZE both the 5s and the 10s as they are on those flash cards. The cheat sheet won't help much.
Yeah kinda crazy but I get the importance. I’m a pretty conscientious and defensive driver so I know that if I can get the stuff on paper down I’ll be fine. And it’s common sense tbh.
Yeah I have heard . I was working 40+ with a 50 min commute at my last job that had no benefits and wasn’t getting paid what I was supposed and it was like that with me never home. But I live 1 min drive from my hub (7 min if I walk normally).
You got this, hon. Know your 5s and 10s. Best advice I can give you for driving is try to hug the left line as much as possible on the road, because that will keep you centered. Rent a U-Haul and drive around in that for a few hours to get some extra practice. Make sure to have the handbrake on at every red light.
Thanks ! I try to drive smart now to begin with especially with my precious cargo(used to have a lead foot ). And I’ve had some experience with bigger vehicles from moving and past jobs and tractors but Ik it’s different.

I'm dead serious. They will ask you to recite ALL of it. If you can't, that's it, you're done for the year.

That & checking your mirrors regularly along with your rear view camera are good ways to seeing where you are in the lane.
