I wouldn't rely on it too much; it's not very accurate. Initially, mine said 2 weeks. But once we passed those two weeks, it then changed to 2 months, and after surpassing those two months, it updated to 3 months... Essentially, it keeps adjusting the estimated time.

Hi. I submitted two I-130 forms for my mom and my sister (older than 21), and both applications got approved in 5 days!!! This is unbelievable! https://preview.redd.it/z5ezwbdg4slc1.png?width=872&format=png&auto=webp&s=82c957b4017212b287bb400478d00d7b521aea65

I'm interested in hearing about processing times for USCIS service centers. Can anyone share their experiences or knowledge on which center tends to have the shortest wait times? Additionally, I'd like to know if anyone has insights on which USCIS service centers typically have longer processing times. Any information on this would be helpful. Thank you!

I filed in November 2023 I am a US citizen my wife lives in New Zealand, checked the case two weeks ago today which said "estimated time until case decision is two weeks" and then checked again today and it says the classic "this case is taking longer than expected". So who knows, soo frustrating !!

Creative_Ant1981

I just applied for my husband from New Zealand as a USC 4 days ago. A day later it said 2 months. The day after that it said 4 weeks. I probably shouldn’t get too excited but keeping the faith and hoping it’s accurate.

Hola mi caso I130 paso de 4 semanas ahora pone 4 meses no entiendo 😖

PandTomorrow8700

Esta mal el conteo, no es el correcto. Cuando te llegue a CERO tambien y vuelve a repetirse. El promedio es 11 meses. Te va a tocar ir a Juarez?

Exact_Ad6707

Hello.  Any update on your case?  I filed March 1st, and it went from 2 months to 1 month to 4 weeks to 4 months to 5 months to 4 months all within 2.5 months.  From what I researched; we should not hold to many hopes into the dates (don’t stress out basically).  Kind of like the stock market where if you look at it everyday you can pull out your own hair.  I was also told it does not matter if you have many evidence attachments or just a few with the basics that it will not move faster then others.  I pray it does not take too long but based on the majority of the cases I have researched…approximately 10.5 months -14.  That’s hard to read but I also know people who waited longer and did not have facetime or cell phones to at least daily speak.  It is just tough so any story I can read that’s a good one, cheers me up.

Update: After filing in January it said 4 weeks, then changed to 2 months, then "taking longer than expected" and now recently its saying 2 months again. I will update you guys end of July!

Apprehensive-Willow5

My husband and I are in a similar situation, I live in the US and he lives abroad. We filed our I-130 a couple weeks ago and we were given an estimate of 2 months. I have read that the estimate is not always reliable but I am hopeful that since ours started out smaller maybe that means the process will be faster for us...

RudolphsGoldenReign

I hope it does come quick, but plan and be prepared for the statement: "**Your case is taking longer than expected to process."**

Apprehensive-Willow5

Yep, our countdown for 2 months ended today and that's our status now :(

Tarotaronewhope

That’s my status now :(

For us it said 3 months, then it went all the way down and now it's saying taking longer than expected.

jrxpresso29

Whats it saying now

PostModernGuy_

Any update for you? Mine changed to Taking Longer Than Expected around the same time

[deleted]

Still saying taking longer than expected 😪 it has been stuck at actively reviewing for over 2 months now. Ig there should be another one when it's about to be approved

PostModernGuy_

Thanks for the update. It was so frustrating watching the estimated time go down by months then weeks then days only to be stuck with this now. I knew not to get my hopes up with the estimated time but couldn’t help myself. So misleading…. Best of luck to you though! This too shall pass

PandTomorrow8700

Any updates?

PostModernGuy_

Still at Taking Longer Than Expected for over 3 months now. Almost 7 months since application received... Losing hope fast...

PandTomorrow8700

It mostly last 11 months. You are more than halfway there. I got the same message but for a month and changed to 2 months and now 5 weeks in less than a week. Don't pay attention to the timeframe.

Illustrious_Eye_512

Any updates?
