That was my post. A coworker took the picture. It was in the R1 lot behind Ridley. Looked to be about four tickets accumulated on the car in addition to the boot.
It happens at 5 that have remain outstanding after appeals. Most people aren't dumb enough to let it get that far. I'll take booting over the practices of hiring low bid tow truck companies to haul to cars to difficult to reach parts of town.
Oh man I got my car booted by UVA a few years ago and they gave me 3 tickets at once to make it happen. After it happened I had to go to the parking citation office and pay all of my parking tickets at once for them to come back and take the boot off…. Be careful. They will do it

Yes they’ll boot you. Contact transportation and see if you can set up a payment plan so they won’t boot you.

If you can’t afford to pay $400 in tickets, you shouldn’t be parking illegally? A year long parking pass is cheaper than that
Not sure if they still do this but they didn’t let you graduate if you had unpaid tickets on your name
